If you're still wanting some more WWX, then theres a decent discount going on. With the exception of one model

Outlaw Miniatures announced a sale for WWX:

With the release of the Sheriff Mic model there is more good things coming to Wild West Exodus fans! All orders on the WWX Web Store are 30% off (Except Mic). The discount is taken in the cart.

Someone have some legal bills to pay?

Outlaw mini's huh - I just bought some Sarissa buildings for this but seeing what has gone down recent I have bought mini's elsewhere (good ol' Reaper) and gone with the WH wild west books which cost me a pretty penny on eBay now no more WH Historicals.

Fyi, Sarissa are awesome. Very helpful people. Their stuff fits together like a glove. http://www.sarissa-precision.co.uk/store/oldwestHR/

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.

Wow, good thing they're offering a discount, as those minis are rather pricey. Are they in 28mm, or bigger?

Also, apparently I missed some drama with WWX? PM would be fine if it would be too off-topic for this thread.

Am I missing something, or are there really pretty much next-to-no female minis in the line? I found 2 (Walks-Looking and Agent Loveless) so far, is that it?

I won't get into the drama here either, but one thing to note, I believe these are mostly (if not all?) pre-order. I don't see a date in the store, but I think their target date is around Aug-Sept. at the earliest.

Yes its preorder and the solo.figs are inexpensive altjoigh the hired hands.are rather.peicey. I would be all over these but I have a move to pay for so guess I'll wait.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House!

Their prices aren't bad, they're just high for a company with no "background" like some of the other big players we pay for. If I remember the KS thread (and what I saw at AdeptiCon), Sitting Bull is on a 50mm base, 16 dollars for a single 50mm base sized model is not bad at all.

The hired hands are a little rough price wise to swallow because it's 6 bucks a fig. Idk how many you'll need in an average game, but I don't see it being more than 1 box, maybe 2 (since there are 2 waves of models).

Buzz, there are the "Ladies of the West" models that they had during the KS, I have 1 at home I got for free at AdeptiCon. She is not a bad sculpt at all, my only complaints with her was the amount of wasted resin on her tab, and the weird WWX base (I can take pics tonight if someone PMs me around 5pm EDT). Perhaps you could email them and see if they're going to be available?

There are 4 additional ones in the Firefly merc crews, but those dont seem available for order.

Seems odd to give such a massive mark-down only ... um ... 8 weeks (?) after completing a 300K Kickstarter

How's the value of these compare to the KS-pledges now?

KS was over 50% discount. They continued a 30% discount for a while after the KS ended.

There was also whispers and "updates" about a 30% discount coupon for backers after the KS ended.

I guess my biggest issue with this sale is that it's not much of a sale. It seems almost like the Kickstarter was an Early Bird, and this is the, "Help us fund our game" sort of kickstarter with less incentive than the early bird stuff .

Not knocking the pricing discounts, but seems silly to sell things on pre-order when they won't be available for months. What are we? the video game industry?

Note: 30% off of a 60 dollar unit box makes it 42 dollars for 10 guys, that's 4.20 a fig. Not terrible prices. The starter sets drop to less than 60 bucks. definitely worth it if the game interests you.

Thanks for the heads-up, I had a vague notion of that from checking out the KS while it ran. I think I'll wait and see what they actually look like before asking. I have got quite the backlog on figures at the moment, heh.

Buzz, I'm actually going to do a mini review on their resins today. I'll link it here when I'm done.

Nice review cincy, thanks. Looking forward to mine arriving now ; ) KSing things sight unseen of course leaves you not knowing how well the 3d renders will translate to the minis. Dreamforge came out beautifully and it looks like these are coming out good too.
