I assume you did it one purpose, but any thought to painting the main weapons plasma chamber?
Regardless, it looks amazing, love the weathering.

Personally, I like the kit, and think you did a great job , but weathering is a little overdone IMO. CARC paint(commonly used on military vehicles) doesn't fall apart like that, even after years of sitting in a motorpool. Large flat areas shouldn't really be as worn away as the edges would. LIke I said, its a good job though, just not my cup of tea.

To me, short of pustule-esque warp corruption, that's exactly what I think a nurgle tank should look like. I don't see it just sitting in the motor pool, it would be around nasty warp-influenced decay and corruption, not to mention nurglings swinging from the gun barrels. I dig it.
Awesome. I would love that kit, my Dark Angels could always do with more plasma.

To be fair, if it's pre-heresy, it's spent a few millenia in the motorpool. I expect it'd be something like that xD

I also can't imagine Death Guard spending a lot of time maintaining vehicles... but maybe their cultists wax on and wax off?

It could be argued that some of the harsh environments it's fought in, have worn the paint away. Death Guard are notorious for their resilience to harsh conditions.
I have to say i watched this tutorial some time ago. and it still has to be one of the best I have watched.
Thank you for sharing!
P.S . Love that Tank!

This is pre heresy so it has not sat around for thousands of years and there are no cultists to take care of it. Great looking tank but honestly makes no sense to look that rusted for the time era.
