This week a small tease of a larger Nurgle commission which was finished in our studio.

Good looking models! Very clean painting... Almost too clean for nurgle models. I suspect the customer will make the bases himself to match his old models bases.

they look fantastic...but...my eyes are drawn to those pearly white teeth.nurgel must have one hell of a dental plan...but lousy health insurance.

just my opinion and dont get me wrong the paint is simply amazing!!!!!!!!

I like the assortment of different colors you gave them. They look great.

They have a good dentist that is what makes them smile

But the best moment of the commission was when my girlfriend told me that the little nurglings look like little funny monsters from Disneys Hercules

Yes, pretty vile when you paint things like bils etc

I have seen plenty of well painted Plaguebearers since their release, but these are my favourites so far. The reason of simple: you have realised that Plaguebearers look multiple times better if they come in different colours. I die a bit inside every time I see a unit of Plaguebearers, all of which are painted identically.

I look very much forward to seeing the entire army!

Also, would you mind sharing the colours you used for basecoating the skin of the Plaguebearers?

In terms of the colours - it was Steel Legion Drab, Death World Forest, Ratskin Flesh and XV-88

Thanks! It helps a lot. I used to basecoat my Nurgle using Citadel Foundation paints but now that they have been discontinued I'm going to have to find suitable alternatives.

There is fair bit of options there just let your imagination go wild ( with limits we don`t want neon pink basecoat )
