If I have a commander with Drone Controller and velocity tracker, in a unit of broadsides with Missile drones, when the drones fire at a flyer with the commander, would they use the BS of the Commander with skyfire, or would it remain snap shots?

The commanders own gun drones can yes. But Skyfire is not a special rule the commander has. It is an item of wargear giving him the skyfire abilty. And in the Independent character rules it says only the Independent character special rules
So I will say that the missile drones and the Broadsides remain as snap shots.

But I will admit its easy to argue Being as Skyfire is a special rule. But in the codex it says choose to have it or not. It does'nt say gives the model the "skyfire special rule"

No. The Drone does not have the Skyfire special rule, so the BS5 passed from the commander will still be reduced to BS1.

As above. You are told snapshot set modifer is always applied last.

Also the Drone Controller doesn't effect Missile Drones anyway, so there's absolutely no way this works.

Drone controller allows all drones in the unit to fire are the model with the Drone controller's BS. If the Cmdr is joined to the unit of Broadsides, the missile drones can use his BS5

I wish this was true.

Read the entry for drone controller and it says "all marker drones, gun drones, sniper drones". It never says missile drones unfortunately.

You may want to re-read the Drone Controller wargear entry. It most certainly does NOT mention Missile Drones (at least the English version). The summary in the back is incorrect in saying "drones" generically.

I suggest you don't believe anything posted by thedarkavenger unless confirmed by other regular posters here at Dakka. He has shown he is incapable of basic English comprehension.
