6th Street drinking if you're with people and want to be around thousands of college kids from UT.
Oasis sunset if you're with people (then down to 6th street).

Barton Springs is excellent in the afternoon. be sure to wander up the hill to where the hippies and topless coeds hang out.
You can wander the capital building as well. It is of course, larger than the Federal one. Watch out for the conseras going on. Don't hit on them unless you want to die.
Stubbs barbeque, County Line barbeque. Steiner Ranch steakhouse (overlook the lake).
Sam Hill (physically in the Lake) is cool if its still in business. Watch out for drunken cougars in swimsuits.
Chuys is decent Mexican food. Lupe Tortillas north of town is much better.
Oh the Bats!!! I almost forgot. About sunset the bats come out of their cave, circle and head out. Dude there are millions of Mexican bats in that cave. Seriously. Its epic. Its like the Hajj for Batman.
