Old metal model, it's just short of chapter markings, everything else is complete.

Nice. I would do another wash or something on the assualt cannon it looks a little flat. Might be the pic though.

Agreed on the assault cannon, looks like a wash and maybe a highlight along the length of the barrel would be good.

It also looks like you drilled out one of the smoke launchers but not the other 2. I would make then uniform. Looks solid though.

I admit it: I surrendered after the first launcher's tube (and two snapped drill bits) ^^

Get a few plastic DA symbols on there and it will look a bit more DA. A chapter icon and some oath papers should do the trick. Here is a pic of my plastic DA dreadnought.

I agree with the above sentiments, otherwise the paint itself is clean. Sadly I have to say that all DA Dreadnoughts are 1st company and should be Deathwing colors.

I will agree that this guy is painted pretty well, but needs some DA iconography to differentiate him from just another Dreadnought in dark green.

I thought those where Venerable ones (I swear I saw green dreadnoughts in older codices!)

I was light with decorations trying not to mess up too much... Indeed I can get a couple of scrolls and a chapter icon, by rummaging in the bitbox, after I painted the rest of the army I'll give it a thought

It is venerable dreads that are deathwing. According to the codex battle brothers that become dreads typically stay attached to the company they were part of beforehand.

Ah crazy! for some reason I thought it was all Dreads in DA that got moved to 1st! Learn something new every day!
