So far in 6th we've had a pretty good idea of which codex was about to come next, in a fairly good order. Now eldar is out, are there any rumours as to the next codex?

Because your gaming group only plays 6th edition army books?
Kidding kidding; just referencing a silly little thread in News and Rumors and your thread came up soon after.
I believe the rumor mill pegged C: SM as the next release.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do |

Because of saying, "hmm...thats a weird rule but each group their own. " He said: "Your gaming group appears to be full of idiots. That's literally the dumbest 40k related thing I've ever heard of."
AND THEN:
He continued to make fun of me and be disrepectful to my group by making fun of me and my group on another thread...now I will stop as the moderator asked us nicely.

Griever said "Your gaming group appears to be full of idiots. That's literally the dumbest 40k related thing I've ever heard of."
Direct insult. And I did not know about no questions in the rumor thread...and this was brought to General discussion. so lesson learned and fixed.
My group is all new players...we find the new codexes more balanced and have no previous collections so we play with only the new stuff...its a small private group of new players. We play the way we want to..others play the way they want to...no harm no foil.
BUT there is no need for personal insults as calling my group a group full of idiots.

No one EVER reads the sticky posts at the top of the forum with the rules, it seems. Not on ANY of the fora that I frequent.
This is context that would have been of much more use as your first response to the commentary on your group that got you so riled up. It provides a clear reason for your group's rule, and assures everyone that you haven't simply shut out your member's long standing armies from use for capricious reasons. As it is, you provided none of that context, and let the perception of the group doing just that kind of shut out persist.

40k releases:
Mystery Box (may or may not be a new 40k release. Heres hoping squats!)

I would love for plastic SoB but they would take more time than DE to make, and with them getting a dwarfdex for 5th I doubt we will see them for a long while

The WORST thing about the Wraithknight is that the suits will probably say that it's good enough to count as an Eldar Apoc type unit, so they'll ignore the long clamoring for things like Scorpions and Cobras.

The thing is big as an ork Stompa I hope it can be an apoc unit! here's hoping for the mid-6th second wave of releases for the new plastics

As TALL as a Stompa, but nowhere near the bulk.

superheavies can fire all though, not a fair comparison.
Its not as bulky because tau are all sleek whereas orks are "come at me bro" style

Exactly, it's NOT a superheavy, but the suits will say it's close enough, rather than give my Eldar a good proper Apoc SH tank.
I want plastic Scorpions and Cobras to go along with my Resin ones, darn it!

C: SM has gotten an update every edition if I remember correctly, so you might be right. I don't think it will be next though, GW seems to be working on updating all the old books for once (Eldar, DA, Tau, etc). Hoping for a BT or SoB release ( SoB would take a while though, I feel like if they were to give them a 6th update they would revamp the line since it's so old).
Orks are a possibility, but I don't think they are next. I don't see why the IG need an update, the current codex is still pretty strong compared to what else is out there.

Bah I don't feel like buying another book already to use my ork allies! At this speed I would expect them soonish. If I were a betting man I would expect Marines though. They don't need much but I'm a little surprised how long 6th has been out without an update for them.
