What guns provide all elemental damage?

There are a ton of enemies which ignore Corrosive(acid) damage within the DLC, a ton that ignore Electric, some ignoring Slag, and plenty ignoring Fire.
Having a normal gun is a veeeeeeeeeeeeeery good thing to do.

When you said 'flatout ignore elemental damage' I assumed this meant ignored all elemental damage...
Even the regular Borderlands has enemies that ignore elemental damage...
Yeah having a regular gun is a good idea, having various elemental weapons is also a good idea...

I'm not sure anything does actually *ignore* elemental damage completely... rather, it's "resisted", meaning it deals just a small fraction of that damage.
In practice, once you're past level 10-15 the damage is so small it might as well be ignored...

Oh yea, we did get a SWORDSPLOSION!

It is awesome.

Seriously. A gun that shoots swords that explode into other swords that explode like grenades.

Amazing.

See I found it innaccurate and annoying to fire. Though awesome in concept. And I'm pretty sure mine shoots axes...

Decided to reinstall it to play the new DLC. First thought,"ooh purdy and what awfully cheery music". Second though,"aww man. Hey wait isn't that the music from Winterfell? Aww...". =)

Finished the new DLC. I really enjoyed it and the very last bit was not at all what I was expecting in the most delightful way.

I definitely agree that it's smart to have a nice high-dps non elemental gun for this one because of all the skeletons. The best way to deal with a lot of skeletons is a plain old bullet hose.

A high damage one shot shotgun got me through the entire DLC, barring needing to chuck the odd vortex grenade to pull archers of their perches.

The ending boss fights seemed to be a tad easy to me, but perhaps they're harder on Ultimate Vault Hunter mode or whatever its called. It was nice to get the sun and rainbows back at the end though. ...I was getting rather fed up of the drearyness, and that loss of saturation actually looked rather nice on the engine.

...Hmn, now to go kill that moon base. Its been awfully up itself lately. =P

"Ultimate Vault Hunter" is basically a mode which requires you to play with a group, no ifs ands or buts. You NEED a group or an incredibly broken set of gear/spec to succeed, no matter the character.

"True Vault Hunter" is far more balanced when compared to UVH, but still adds a bit of a challenge.

Speaking from my experience as Axton in Tiny Tina's DLC:
A high damage bullet hose is a Very Good Thing as the enemies like to swarm.
The Swordsplosion is also amazing for the DLC.
The Legendary grenade mods from Tiny Tina(Fire Storm and Chain Lightning) are godlike when you acquire them.

Meh... I found Chain Lightning to be kinda lacklustre, but then I am carting a couple of high-level purple grenade mods around.

Its biggest problem is that you need a direct shot for it to take effect - that's what sniper rifles are for. Grenades are at their most useful getting at targets you can't shoot straight to.

Are you talking about the Legendary, "Chain Lightning" or the Blue "Lightning Bolt"?

In any case, you do not need a direct hit.
Try throwing it at a wall near an enemy sometime and see what happens.

Oooh, mine's only the blue one which I'm guessing is the Bolt then. ...lend me?

Chain Lightning is--in a word--"ridumbulous".
It arcs from target to target to target to target and can go through walls/floors/ceilings.

It is hilariously fun.

I don't suppose you want to dupe a copy for me Kan? My level 52 Axton likes shiny orange toys.

I can farm one...I was just hoping to get a freebie. Lol. Do you wanna do a multiplayer sometime? Aldarionn might join, if we asked, and I have another I can wrangle for UVM.

I actually have been playing primarily with a buddy of mine, but if you want to join with a character aside from Axton I can get you in with us.

Axton is actually the only character I have who can handle UVM... would it be so bad to have two of them running around? Or do you BOTH already have him? Lol. I suppose Maya could join, but she's only 47 or so. She'd be a liability to start.

We have an Assassin and Axton so far.

Our goal is to do it in such a way that we do not have duplicate characters to prevent arguments over loot. It has worked great for Normal and True Vault Hunter.

In regards to getting you from 47? That's easy. You can tag along with me on my Ranger class mod farming runs around Tiny Tina's DLC.

i have been playing solo with Krieg and i really havent had too many issues playing through all 3 game modes.

the first playthough was a bit annoying as i needed levels for skills to have a build that worked.

true vault hunter mode was actually a breeze and the only real problem areas i had were badass constructors and super badass loaders, most bosses were easily dispatched in 30 seconds or less.

so far in ultimate i have not had any problems, even in places where i thought i would have trouble things have been cake so far.

maybe it is my build but it is definately not my gear as i have not farmed for any really decent gear as i do not see a point untill level 61.

Well, we finally picked up Chain Lightning tonight - and yeah, I stand corrected. That thing is the COMPLETE awesomesauce. Magic Missile is pretty damned useful, too.

How does Krieg play? I've been considering starting out a new game as him (having only played for a significant time as Axton). The idea of just running at things and hitting them seems like it'd fit my playstyle (I tend to run at things and shoot them due to having a woeful accuracy half the time...because of said running). However I've found that the melee system can be a bit lacking at times (ie trying to hit that damn villager with the second note in Dragon Keep), so I'm unsure how that would hold up (though I'm sure it'd be easier considering that enemies aren't typically running away from you...).
