Are there Crux Terminatus bits for this, or am I better off trying to freehand it? If so, any tips?

I've got one on order, not in hand, so can't guarantee 100%, but the command squad has quite a few shoulder pads.

I'm picking up a set of them, a commander box, and a DA battle force to make a bike captain, some sternguard, and some more bikes.

The command squad set comes with at least 5 Crux Terminatus pads - so you're well covered there, and the commander box has at least one, plus a host of other goodies (Deathwatch pads!)

As for just wanting one or two pads, but not shelling out for a whole box - eBay is your friend.

That may be an option, I'll keep that in mind. More specifically, I'm looking for ones in badge form, that could be glued to the greaves or something. I've seen some out there, but have no idea if they're small enough. If not, I suppose I could make it into a pendant or something.

I know the ones you mean. Again the command squad, commander and Terminator sets contain loads of these, and you can always get them on eBay.

EDIT: Oh, and they are suitable for gluing onto greaves etc. The ones in the commander set come with a little depression on the back of them so that they can be glued onto little studs on the commander torso and onto certain other studs - so a pendant is easily made.

There is one badge in both the command squad and the captain's box, of the small, pendant type. There are probably more hanging out on other sprues as accessories/banner pole toppers/etc.

Perfect, thanks! I suppose I could have more easily asked if these specifically are the proper size for what I intend. I'll peruse the bitz sellers for some, I feel my Wolf Lord at the least needs one, and maybe the members of my TWC.
