The Twolf was almost certainly FAQd that way as the basic TWC were S5, T5 - no brackets. It made no sense to have them inconsistently treat WGBL / WL / etc on mounts compared to the vanilla TWC.

There is absolutely nothing at all comparable here. There is aboslutely NO suggestion - none - that it should be S4.

I think the biggest reason people are asking is it really matters to whether the power is any good. I can't see why I'd pay for it if it wasn't going to get him to the next ID step up (S8) S7 for 10 points just seems a waste on a character you're already spending 40 pts to get S6 on.

I think Fuegan is clear evidence that it is not a statline change like Thunderwolves.

Compare Fuegan (who has Crushing Blow) to Jetbikers. One has the statline modification, one does not.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

1. This really shouldn't come into it, some things are just costed steeply for what they do, that's a fact of life, if we were going to change the rules to bring points costs in line with perceived value we would have bigger fish to fry than this upgrade.

2. It's worth it for his 3 other weapon options which you are ignoring.

Interceptor Drones can disembark at any point during the Sun Shark's move (even though models cannot normally disembark from Zooming Flyers).

What about his other weapon options? +1S makes a big difference there

Points cost also has no bearing on the rule here. Falchions were only worth it if they gave you an additional attack on top of the 2CCW bonus, yet GW decided otherwise
