Has anyone seen anything on how to paint an ice wall? It would really help me out. Thanks

Could you be a bit more specific in what you mean?

For example:

You have made a big wall out of insulation foam, and want to paint it to look like ice.

You have a big clear piece of acetate, an want to paint it to resemble ice.

You want to make a terrain piece that looks like a glacier, and want to know what materials and paint to use to make it look like ice.

You want to make something that looks like a barrier made out of ice, that is translucent.

Typically, if you want to make something look like ice (and ice flow, block of ice, ice terrain, etc.) people paint it white, then give a light blue wash, followed by edge highlighting or dry brushing in white.

I have a wall made of pink foam. I wAnt to make It look. Think Game of Thrones " the Wall". I would like to get a bunch of ideas. To give you an idea of scale it's 22 wide by 20 high. Thanks

Gotcha.

That particualr wall is more "dirty ice" than "clean" ice.
That is more grey than blue.

So, before you try a method on your large carved wall, I would take a smaller piece and try it.

First maybe give is a base coat of a craft paint, like an off white (don't use spray paint on the unprotected foam - it will melt).

Then maybe give it a wash of white paint, with a tint of blue in it and let it dry.

Then I would give it a wash of very light grey, to give it the "dirty" look.

Finally, a drybush of off white, followed by a lighter dry brush of bright white, to bring it back up to ice.

When you get your paint job finished, top it off with a thin coat of water effects. Your friends will say "Holy **** that's awesome. How'd you do that?"

I googled the wall and it seems just like a translucent glacier wall.

seal it first with craft paint or pva glue, then paint it Ice blue with a heavy dry brush of that blue + white mostly around the edges, then edge highlight with white. to make the wall look like ice.

then seal it with gloss?satin varnish to make it a bit shiny.

if you have a specific picture you want to follow it would help.

Water effects will give you the effect "this glacier wall has melted and frozen again a thousand times" look. Try it on a sample piece. If you don't want to spring for the big kit/tub, Vallejo sells it in normal paint sized bottles for the price of ...well a bottle of paint.
