So whilst a previous order was dealt with (refund and all) some time after that last thread, again I find myself in the position of not receiving a particular order and not getting any response from the owner of Bit & Kits. For some context I ordered in mid-October and it was dispatched on the 26th, however it was never received. I made another order not too long after and did receive it, which bodes will, however I am still getting no response from the owner regardless of trying the webstore Contact Us or even the email option. Again, this is after seven months and just as many if not more emails.
The current mailing address he references in his advertising emails no longer functions and I have had to resort to replying to those in the hope that he does spot it before doing another batch of emails. This is the second time I've been in this position with this store and it's frustrating not being able to get into contact with the owner.

Ah great....
I placed an order with them about a week ago. Anyway, I hope it works out. There is a usual protocol for this type of problematic situation for all online transactions. How did you pay?

Paypal.
Regardless a later order (as in placed later on before there was a perceived issue) was received so all looks well for current buyers. However the issue is that this one seems to have disappeared into the ether and I can't for the life of me contact him (or better yet get a response).

You're certainly generous. I would have reported the transaction as fraud and never dealt with them again long before this point. Unfortunately paypal and/or your bank probably have deadlines to report a fraudulent transaction that are much shorter than seven months, so you've lost your money. Consider it a lesson in not giving such generous shipping deadlines to businesses you deal with.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices. |

I;ve had similar experiences with bits and kits. Item apparently shipped, on the last day I contested the payment on PayPal. In addition to the PayPal messages I tried making contact multiple times via email with no response at all. They let the PayPal escalate to a claim and waited the entire time with no response until PayPal decided in my favour.
I have since taken my business elsewhere and I encourage everyone else not to order from there. Quite the unprofessional chap. As your dispute time has long expired, take it as a lesson learned, don't buy from there again and spread the word.

They were my go to bits site for the longest time, but recently I had made an order for a pair of Swarmlord bonesabres (right and left). I was sent two right handed sabres and have emailed them three times; no response. It is going on a month now without a response. It's just a single bit, but the lack of appropriate costumer service or rectification has lost them a customer as well as my friends whom I have informed not to purchase from them. Just wanted to pass on the negative feedback to deter others.

Always sad to hear about stories like this as running a bits business takes a ton more work then just doing a brick and mortar (I have owned both). I will shamelessly post my company though as I have never heard one complaint battleroadhobbies.com.

Listen, my children, as I pass onto you the truth behind Willy Wonka and his factory. For every wonka bar ever created in existance, Mr. Wonka sacraficed a single Oompa Loompa to the god of chocolate, Hearshys. Then, he drank the blood of the fallen orange men because he fed them a constant supply of sugary chocolate so they all became diabetic and had creamy, sweet-tasting blood that willy could put into each and every Wonka bar. That is the REAL story behind willy wonka's Slaughter House! |

Yes, whoever post under his user name at heresy-online, well he can be rather rude and demeaning.
Still you may want to give it a shot over there. Post in the forums will likely get you a positive outcome.

I'm looking for some Necron bits at the moment, and it doesn't appear that you have a Necron section on your website.
(To other posters: I have been very happy with prior purchases from Battleroad Hobbies, though.)

Thanks and necrons are honestly bits that I haven't decided upon yet. For any bits company that is worth a damn it takes a lot of work and research into what the best possible bits are for the market. Most companies won't take the risk on bits in general but I enjoy it even if its more work and less sales. Do what you love .

I've never had an issue with Bits & Kits. Ordered from them for years.
He does post on Dakka periodically as well I think. I'll see if I can find his username.
Also try him on Facebook.
Sorry just looked for him and can't find him!

I've been waiting 36 days so far for the last order I placed with them, I've contacted them regarding my order and have had no response, I'm pretty pissed off.
