I've recently been accused of playing a broken/beardy/cheesy tau list at 1750 points by a Draigowing player. Could you please take a look at the list and see if he's right please?

I see nothing beardy/broken/cheesy. You are running a full Stealth Squad for goodness sake.

Although I think a HH with Longstrike + upgrades costs more than you have listed...

Is it really worth having the 2 TL FBs on the Commander? I suppose he almost never misses...

What exactly did he complain about? You don't even have a Riptide! And ZERO Markerlights for ignoring cover! How does the list run with no Markerlights btw?

Don't really see any sort of problem though as above you forgot to cost in long strike it seems

you took what looks to be a tac list and owned a very elite army with lots of ap1-2

Hell if any sort of suggestion, id take out the bonding knife/ui upgrade and get an ethereal for double tap dakka and ld10 bubble.

Hi jackblg I've only been playing tau for a year first thing I'd do is give your bodyguards and hq iridium armour and lose the gauntlet as no matter who tau go against in assault they will lose I once had 9 crisis suit with twin flame and gauntlets go against 3 nobz teams and get wiped out you have a good number of fire warriors but I would lose a couple for cadre fireblade cuz if you don't move then the unit he is with gets an extra shot finally I would swap your stealth suits for pathfinders as they are cheaper but the main reason is marklights they will really make a massive diffrence on any game you play hope these ideas help, Afro tau

To be honest, your list is not cheesy at all. Tau can do much worse than that, believe me... if your friend faced a really strong Tau army, he would cry...

Lol this list is far from optimized, who you ever you played either is a poor commander or can't adapt to playing against a new army. Just by playing a stealth team and no virtually no marker lights you should already be giving him the advantage.

You can only take 1 iridium armor per army btw

unfortunately it just shows that people will complain about anything these days if they think its better than there army. This list is far from cheesy and seems like a fun but competitive list to play its similar to mine so keep up the good work But just a tip, dont liston to anyone and dont let anyone else change your list or opinions, play what you want not what someone else wantsl who cares if its a cheese list you have a right to collect and play with what you want and a good oponent will see a 'cheese' list as just a challenge and will play the game fairly.
