I keep finding UK sites where it'd cost me 24-30 bucks to get this =( I got it on Amazon once in the US for like 8 bucks but it says it's no longer available. Anyone have a place? Thanks!

as far as I can tell, it is strictly a Euro-only product. Buying offshore is the only option.

Ah ok, is there any US equivalent product that you'd recommend?

not as far as I can tell.
if you want good glue, look for BSI glues. Quite often, it is a hobby store's house branded stuff. They also sell spare nozzles in case of catastrophic glue clogs. the gap-filling type is nltop-notch, and the fast set is extremely fast and strong.

yes.
Get the testors (same company) liquid cement in the strange back bottles (they look like weird squares) and they have the same amazing applicators in the new one.
Here is a link:
I used to the get revell stuff via ebay, and I have found the testors to be comparable in use.
http://www.testors.com/product/0/8872C/_/Liquid_Cement_For_Plastic
make sure you get the one with the precision metal applicator (like the revell cement) the one with the plastic applicator is garbage.
best of luck!

no no no. That plastic cement is the same stuff we all suffered with as kids, putting together cars and airplanes.

The Testors "model master" range will do as a replacement in the US. Rhombus shaped bottle (like a tilted square). Comes in both steel needle tip and plastic tips.
We get Testors, Revell, Tamiya, Humbrol and all the usual paint brand that have this sort of cement here in Oz - depending on what part of the country you are in. Both in jar and bottle forms.

No no no. the stuff I linked is not.
The plastic cement is the nasty gooey stuff in a tube - this is the junk I think you may be referring to:
http://www.testors.com/product/136635/3501X/_/Cement_For_Plastics_58oz
and yes, you should stay away from it.
The stuff I linked is the model masters liquid cement (not as liquid as plastruct plastic weld, but not a gel) and works great.
I have both the testors model master stuff, and the revell contacta pro, which after a short google search....you can get it here:
http://www.thecombatcompany.com/glues-and-adhesives/revell-contacta-professional-plastic-glue-25grams/
So, either order the revell stuff (or find it on ebay - I found three places with reasonable shipping to the US) or get the model masters liquid cement - you can get it at hobby lobby or hobby town usa, or many other hobby stores.

I spent a few minutes looking and also cannot find a US based seller.
I also concur that Model Master plastic cement is likely to be nigh-identical in results and performance. I'm pretty sure the only difference is that the UK version uses MEK (or something like that other than toluene, which is restricted in Europe). You want this stuff:
