Don't know where to put this question but here we go.
For the gifts of asuryan it says 1 of each per army. Could I put say the celestial lance on my wraithseer? Cause it is forge world
 Thanks for loooking at this.

Does the Wraithseer unit entry give it access to the "Gifts of Asuryan" list?

Genuine question ... does anything? My copy of Iyanden hasn't come in yet, but I was under the impression that there were no updated unit profiles. Thus, one would assume you're using the Codex: Eldar profiles that only give access to Remnants of Glory?

Do the rules for the Gifts of Asuryan indicate any special restrictions, such as that the unit must have access to Remnants of Glory before being able to substitute?

Yes, only models with access to Remnants of Glory can take a Gift of Asuryan, and you can't mix and match from both lists.

Codex Eldar tells you which units can take Remnants of Glory. Codex Iyanden then tells you if you want that the models that can take Remnants can take Gifts of Asuryan *instead*. That's the whole army too, so if you take any Gifts you can't take any Remnants from the original list.
This of course means Special Characters' Remnants aren't affected, because you don't pick them from a list to begin with.

It say 1 per army and the wraithseer is a special charater so by the way the supplement is worded I think he can take the a gifts. Sorry for bad spelling trying to do this via phone

Does the wraithseer have access to Remnants? If he doesnt, he cannot take Gifts.
Being a character has no bearing on this.

If it says that a model must have access to Remnants of Glory in order to take Gifts of Asuryan, then no ... I'd say the Wraithseer is not eligible. Forgeworld is said to be working on an IA11 update to compliment Codex: Eldar, though ... and there are also supposed to be a lot of updated FW profiles with the release of Apocalypse in a couple weeks. I'm skeptical as to whether or not the Wraithseer will get it, regardless on account of the unit basically being a psyker Wraithlord ... but who knows?
Keep your eyes peeled for an update, I'd say.
