So... Which daemon (Between Tzeentch and Nurgle) is better for a flying circus list? On the one hand, if I go Tzeentch I'll not be able to roll Biomancy on my Greater Daemon.... But on the other, shrouded really doesn't help on a model with 3+ armor and a 5+ invuln anyways.
So who do you pick?

Well, the GUO can't fly, making a "flying circus" rather difficult.

If you go Tzeentch and assuming the Lord of Change, you can get some pretty sweet Divination powers like Precognition and the ever-present Prescience.
If you're going for a Daemon Prince, Tzeentch again. You still have access to Telepathy and Biomancy. For a flying Circus build, Flying Nurgle Princes are hindered by a Great Unclean One's inability to fly in and get in proper support.

Nurgle also suffers from not being able to sweep units, while Tzeentch princes only fail saves stright away on a 2 the re roll ones is brillant plus we can have fateweaver as our lord of change making that one dice re roll per turn even more important to re roll the first failed grounding test.
Plus Tzeentch princes are pretty much instant str8 for a 10pt lesser reward which is auto take for me, being able to instal kill most SM characters and wraiths is worth that.

This!
You don't want your DP to fly up to a unit, kill 6 of them, then have them fall back out of assault and shoot you in the face.

If I was playing SM against nurgle I would happily decide to lose combat res and run away, my whole army then shoots you or i charge in another combat squad and use a throw away sarg as a challenge dud. then rinse and repeat

I think I've made up my mind.
(Also: I voted Nurgle just so I could see the poll without clicking 'Show Results' every time. It's actually three votes for papa.)
As for Gear... 3 Mastery Levels and the uber sword on one prince, and the Grimore nearby... With a little luck I've got +d3+1S, +D3 T, + D3 Ws, + 2D3 Attacks, +2D3 Initiative. And fleet, and a 3+ Invuln, and Eternal Warrior.
Hells yeah.

But you can do the exact same for a Tzeentch DP? And they re-roll 1's for ALL saves!

I wouldn't leave home without Fateweaver. He helps to reel in some of the unnecessary randomness. Having the 1D6 reroll can work wonders for the Grimoire and in your opponent's turn, grounding checks.

I like how you didn't even bother listing the other options.
Actually, Slaanesh DPs with the lash of submission are quite shooty but Tzeentch dps are clearly the best option.

Better answer: Slannesh. Get 'dem whips fool! Better answer against those flyer spamming crons! Vector strike through and whip back armor.

I know you weren't asking but I personally think khorne is the best. Bloodthirsters and DPs with rage and rampage is crazy strong. U can get 6FMCs in a 2000pt list that just owns

But the DPs don't have biomancy. I want Biomancy.

As above, princes need to be expensive to be good, without the greater rewards (which include swapping one out for a lash) and without the buffs de buffs from biomancy they die too easily (and without the 3 plus armour save re rolling 1's.)
They are only t5 with 4 wounds at the end of the day, they need improvement and cost to be worth while
