I'm trying to work out a functional Iyanden force that has a fair chance on the field.

Farseer on Jetbike
2x Spiritseers

6 Wraithguard w/ Wraithcannons
6 Wraithguard w/ Wraithcannons
7 Windriders w/ 2 Shuriken Cannons
6 Windriders w/ 2 Shuriken Cannons
6 Windriders w/ 2 Shuriken Cannons
6 Windriders w/ 2 Shuriken Cannons

Wraithlord w/ 2x Brightlances and Flamers
Wraithlord w/ 2x Brightlances and Flamers
Wraithknight w/ Heavy Wraithcannons

I've got some points to play with, so I'll probably add a Wraithforge Stone. My biggest concern with this list is lack of Anti-Air. I'm thinking about dropping some windriders for Warp Spiders (Combined w/ Fortune) to fill this role. Any other thoughts?

I think the Wraithknight is over costed for what it does. Observe that it has niether an invulnerable save nor eternal warrior. So even though it has T8, AP2 or AP3 weapons that cause instant death (Distort weapons cough cough) will kill your 240 point model outright. Personally, I'd rather have two wraithlords.

I would take 5 man squads of wraithguard with D-scythes and wave serpents, then have the spiritseers join them. That way, the WG will be able to get close enough to targets, quickly and the spiritseer will be able to spirit mark the targets.

You may have trouble maneuvering 26 jet bikes. They'll take up a lot of space. I'd recommend pairing that down a little bit.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to drop the squad of 7 Windriders for some Warp Spiders. That would free up the cover a bit and give me another option on the field, plus a little AA.

Putting a squad with D-Scythes in a Wave Serpent has been very tempting for me. I struggle with the points cost, though I know it can be a powerful move. I do want to keep my Wraithknight. Too expensive of an investment to let collect dust. I am aware that the cool factor plays into unit selection for me a little too much, but I just dig the model.

I totally understand. I was about to drop $115 on one of these - because it looks so cool! But then I'd want to put it in every list and I'm just not sure how they're going to play out. Maybe after you've worked out the strengths and weaknesses for me, I'll put one in my army!
