Before I start...there a zero flyers in our 500 point games right now in my gaming group.

FAST ATTACK - 2xArmored Sentinels w/Lascannons

HEAVY - Basilisk

I don't know what 2 armoured sentinels are doing that a basilisk couldn't do better. Why not drop the 2 sentinels and get an extra. I also don't see what the LC is doing, he's expensive, not going to contribute much and vets aren't getting as large a benefit from his aura of discipline as other units they are commonly paired with. So I'd take a CCS instead, get orders + more bodies + upgrade potential.

Use the 35pts left over for upgrades on the infantry units:
CCS - autocannon, flamer
Vets - autocannon, 2 flamers
Vets - autocannon, 2 flamers
Basilisk
Basilisk

Should be 500 I think.

Great. This is the perfect time to add one, since your opponents will certainly not have any defense against it. If you replace the Basilisk with a Griffon you can trade the useless Sentinels for a Vendetta or Vulture.

Also, you probably want to include some melta so you don't automatically lose to a Land Raider list.

The plan of the fist 500 was the Veterans and LC sit back...the LC stops the guards from running.

The Basilisk forces the enemies into my guns.

The sentinels take out tanks and high armor targets.


But maybe a Vendatta is what I need,
