The iBooks are still the same price, while the newer epub/mobi format is cheaper, but also doesn't have the interactive content (360° model views, rule pop-ups, etc). They're basically just a digital version of the printed book.

Sort of. Those are just the more standard e-reader versions of the codex, as opposed to the ibooks ones that have all the bells and whistles.

So now you have a choice of whether to go with the more expensive (and more feature-filled) version or the slightly less expensive (and less feature-filled) version.

And of course, if you don't have an ipad, then you at least now have at least one way to buy it.

Still, good news in general, even though the price is still quite high.

So, it's just a standard epub file? That's good... of course, the price is still out of this world.

Back to what the old print codices were roughly... And in line with other pdf rulebooks. Still not the same level of content sadly :-\

Also all of this is being discussed already here

Aye, you can choose between epub or mobi, so you can use it on virtually any e-reader now. Including iPads, if you don't want to pay for the extra interactive content or use it one more than one device.

This is actually really nice of them to do, the pricing on the digital edition is lower than the hardback, as it should be.

We got non-IPad formats now? That's...good.

Digital versions that are non-ipad and lower price were exactly what the people wanted, and now the people have it. A somewhat rare all-around-good movie by GW!

I will lock this as we do have the discussion going on in another thread (the link is previously posted earlier in this thread).
