Do you have any pictures of your table prepped for battle?

I'd love to see it. I'll show you mine if you show me yours!

I'll get a pic of it next time we play. Most of it is unpainted, but I ordered some stuff from Reece, so hopefully it is as good as I hope.

mines just a green felt board with a abominable, heretical ribbon of blue going through it that's supposed to be a river.

40k doesn't exist here in Qatar, but me and my small team are gonna get some decent terrain (both bought and homemade) this summer. if the thread is still running then, then I'll show ya!

Making cacti would be a fantastic idea to bring some colour to a desert board.

My gaming club used to have a GW table with cacti/tyranid plants on it. They hurt when you need to get the dice out from under them.

Some Tomb World in some galaxy by that one thing in that one place (or Minnesota for nosy people)

I've got a couple GW boards a snow board a lava board a desert board and a couple just open fields and buckets full of terrain

I came into an inheritance about six months ago. After having previously fought 40k on a green GW tablecloth with some fairly naff scenery, I spent £500ish on...

Realm of Battle, 2x Imperial Sector kits, an Imperial Stronghold, Shrine of the Aquilla, Skyshield Pad, Battlescape, Garden of Morr, 2x Battlefield Accessories.

Unboxing all of the that was amazing fun. But yeah, having a large amount of themed terrain makes for incredible games.

Edited to add pics link.

That looks awesome, I was thinking of doing something similar, and you have totally just validated that idea!

Can't recommend the Garden of Morr enough, especially when combined with the Shrine... It's great to deploy Sisters in front of that!
