There's a video attached to the article, located at the top, it's graphic...so watch at your own risk.

Obama waited two years before helping the “rebels” in Syria, by which time they had become completely radicalized Islamists. How radicalized? Last week, they beheaded Father Francois Murad, a Syrian Catholic priest, while men and boys cheered, screamed “Allahu Akbar “(“God is great”), and took pictures.

Father Murad, 49, was helping to establish a monastery in the northern Syrian town of Syria. Last weekend, rebels stormed the monastery and kidnapped the priest. Early reports were that the al Qaeda-linked Islamists shot Father Murad to death. The Vatican, however, has confirmed that the rebels martyred him on June 23 by beheading him.

The killing was carried out by Jabhat al-Nusra, aka Al-Nusra Front, a group linked to al Qaeda. Live Leak has posted a video that allegedly shows Jabhat al-Nusra members beheading three men with a kitchen knife, and then placing their heads on their bodies. Around them, dozens of men and boys cheer. Once the beheading is over, the spectators grab their smartphones, take pictures, and scream “Allahu Akbar.” Father Murad is believed to have been the first man beheaded.

When Civil War first started in Syria, President Obama could have thrown America’s weight behind the opposition, which was still a democratic movement, both by providing moral support and, perhaps, by providing some limited weapons. Instead, he sat on the sidelines waiting until the Civil War had degraded to the most primitive, savage, bestial behavior – at which point he announced that America would be providing arms and aid to the al Qaeda-backed rebels. American tax dollars are becoming blood money, aiding al Qaeda, and furthering the Islamist goal of creating a Christian-free, Jew-free Middle East.

The report is somewhat inaccurate, especially when it says the rebels "had become completely radicalized Islamists". There is no unified rebel force. Just disparate groups with competing agendas, who's only unifying feature is the ousting of Assad.

Gee, that sure sounds like an unbiased source with no agenda.

Bias doesn't factor into this. These savages butchered an innocent man because he was a Christian. How about you drop the sarcasm and poor attempt to sound witty.

He was, but treating the ragtag, disparate rebel group as a monolithic entity with a unified agenda is disingenuous at best.

Oh no. the current Administration, and other countries, seem to believe that they can provide weapons to the marginally more friendly rebels groups and that somehow the really hostile ones won't get their hands on them.....

Presumably they would be using the weapons to defend themselves...

I've seen much much worse and help opt a few of those chuckleheads out.

Its way to late to get into the game in Syria. Besides everyone knows (I really hope they do) going into a country that's in "turmoil" is risking your own life.

This is also true. I do agree that the time to help the rebels has likely past since while they're not *all* fundamentalist Islamic militants, that's probably the element that's going to come out on top at this point, even if we aid the more moderate groups.

This is going to sound cynical, but the best that the West and Israel can hope for is that there is no quick resolution and that this continues to wear down both sides and their supporters. We should stick to a humanitarian role and help those refugees fleeing the civil war.

We should stay out or arm the secular guy-oh wait thats Assad. You know this would help our relationship with both Iran and Russia if we armed Assad. Just saying there's always a bright side...
