My wife did criticise me about getting more stuff before i've finished painting what i have, and i've been trying to get everything painted before i move on, anyway, here is what i currently own that isn't painted:

Imperial Fists Battlecompany, roughly 130 marines, 15 bikes 30 terminators, 40 scouts, 10 rhino/predator, 3 landraiders and more stuff.

Painted are 2 tac squads, terminator squad, librarian, 2 las/plas razorbacks, and an autolas predator.

I may weaken because the new boxed sets for marines are nice, i definately want to get a squad of Centurions, a stalker, and a thunderfire, and grav guns for my bikes. I've also decided to ally in some dark angels so will be splitting a DV box with my best mate

Space wolves, all classic metal stuff, was badly painted, but it used to belong to my wife, but she stopped playing and i stripped it all, so now needs repainting.
Highlights include Leman Russ, Ragnar Blackmane, Ulrik, Njal and 2 full squads of metal greyhunters, 2 full squads of metal bloodclaws, 15 long fangs etc etc

Tau i have 12 crisis suits, 3 broadsides, 60 firewarriors, 2 railheads, 20 kroot, some pathfinders and 3 devilfish, 2 pirhanas, and some sniper drones, not touched the army in years and years

Necrons, 60 OLD metal warriors, 30 OLD metal Immortals, 15 OLD metal destroyers, and 5 OLD lords (60-70 metal scarabs) on top of 50 plastic warriors, 20 immortals, 3 AB's, 12 wraiths (+2 metal) 3 destroyers, 3 lords and a royal court, 3 ghost arks 2 night scythes and 10 lychguard

500 point imperial guard force, and a baneblade

For warhammer, i have

Dogs of war:
100 pikemen, 40 xbows, 20 heavy cavalry 8 ogres, 2 giants, 3 cannons, ogla whatsits hobgoblin wolf riders, Asarnil the dragon lord

Skaven
200 Clanrats, 200 skavenslaves, 12 rat ogres, 40 stormvermin 10 weapon teams, 60 giant rats and other stuff

High Elves

Vampire counts, old school 4000 points, (most of which is actually painted, but is in BAD condition) most of the army is converted because i started at a time when the undead kits were a little uninspiring

So bar a little gluing (the wings on flying rippers suck) 'nids are done, that just leaves this little lot to do before the end of the month. Most of them have their weapons already painted (thank god for army painter's silver spray) so it isn't as bad as it could be...

I read Colonel Scipio's blog and it inspired me to make an expansive background. I'll be making a blog of sorts to help inspire others too.

Will be looking to make a start on another Russ and/or my Stormies later in the weekend, whichever takes my fancy I guess.

How long my willpower can hold out in light of all the new Marine releases is anyone's guess.

About half way through with my latest batch of ~80 marines, not going as quickly as I'd like. Got distracted building rhinos, the new Microart Eldar defence line and rebasing a bunch of Nurgle Bikers & Terminators.

To be fair, Terminators take far longer to paint than most things in my experience. This includes Crisis Suits and some vehicles.

I think it was because I was trying to bling mine out a bit with some more gold thrown in on the assault termies. Plus I tried to take my time on the lining portion.
