I want to put a small bird (falcon, hawk, eagle etc.) on my space marine captains arm or even slightly above the arm, I was wondering if any gw products (40k or fantacy) have anything like that, or even like a bat that I could green stuff to a bird (easier than it sounds)?

The Bretonnian knights come with a falcon/hawk of some kind that could be useful, I can't vouch for scale though.

Here you go

It comes with the hood as well, which I think is pretty cool

Dragon prince comes with a pheonix I think. Can't remember where I got mine from. Dryads come with about 3 or so Owls.

The pheonix stands flat, while the owl is made to be perched on something.

There is also the DE razorwing flock for 40k.

2 separate birds, 1 cast pair (Right wing on one is joined to tail of the other). The two separates are about a 33-35mm wingspan.

I used one for my converted coteaz (bald shouty inquisitor in powered armour with a hammer and magic chicken) because Coteaz had been withdrawn and not yet rereleased in FC at the time.

Where I come from 'bird' is slang for female or girlfriend, so I had a few jokes lined up, then realised that no one would understand...
The above mentioned Coteaz would be your best bet though. The double headed eagle is very Imperial.

Njal has a pretty sweet bird that is not terribly difficult to remove.

The Empire General (WHFB) has a shield with crow perched on it. Just be careful with the bird's feet when removing it.

Driven away from WH40K by rules bloat and the expense of keeping up, now interested in smaller model count games and anything with nifty mechanics.

There's also a crow/raven in the Garden of Morr box. Great if you're also looking for a terrain piece to add on your collection, as long as you don't mind the skulls.

Ok my final descision is either the DE razorwings
Inquisiter corteaz
Nyol (or whatever the feth hes called) on term armor
The facts: I plan on having my captain in termie armor (is there a short version of terminator armor?) with a helmet (if possible) and a storm shield and thunderhammer or stormbolter or powersword
I plann on having the bird on his shoulder
I will be ounouncing my choice(s) after hearing your further thoughts.

Falconers give their bird a hood between flights, covering the eyes, so that they are not agitated by the surroundings:

You can use TDA (tactical dreadnought armour)
