Luckily I'm high and dry in Burlington which barely got any rain at all. (maybe at most 15mm or so)
But Toronto & Mississauga are still trying to pump out a number of areas and most people who lost power last night still don't have it back.

Toronto also managed a new record for rainfall last night, getting just over 126mm in only a few hours. That's more rain than what Hurricane Hazel dropped on the city in 1954!

Glad to hear you're safe, Canada just seems to be getting plenty of bad news recently.

Burlington seems to dodge every single event luckily. The last time we got seriously fustigated was in January '99 when we had about 5+ feet of snow fall within 2 weeks... The snowbanks on my corner were literally about 10+ feet high - all 4 stop signs were completely buried and you couldn't see for crap at the intersection.

Lucky for us, the only way we'd ever get flooded out where we are is if we get hit by 'training' like what happened last night in TO or if a strong enough earthquake where to deposit lake Ontario into the city itself.
Gotta love being on high ground!

But yeah, it's crazy what's happened across the country in the past three weeks!
Two major cities flooded, with Alberta still trying to pump out some towns... a foiled domestic terrorist plot... small town Quebec being the site of one of the worst rail disasters in Canadian history...

Hopefully things don't get any worse! (fingers crossed, because we've got more rain slated for tomorrow with the potential to see more intense downpours due to the high humidity)
