Got to say, I like the look of the Market Garden Canadian Lists.

Were you not tempted by the Mattress Rocket battery?

I quite like the list, just no real AA which always seems to be a weakness throughout the book for Allied Forces.

I've been spoiled with German Forces, with all the mobile AA options.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

I like the list but I worry about the lack of proper recon to stop ambushes. Sure most of the time you will defend, but you will have to attack at some point and you have to think about that.

I also wounder if 4 17pdr's might be too many as thats half of your tanks with no HE .

I would also go with the land mattress over the 25 pounders unless you have them already as they have a better firepower and more guns to kill infantry with, you don't need to worry about tanks with 4 17pounders and 4 6 pounders.

By that point in the war the Luftwaffe just wasn't the threat it once was and a lot of dedicated unit AA forces were assigned to other duties, though it does leave on vulnerable when playing against other LW lists that offer more solid air support for the other side.

I am looking to run some "canadians" myself just to try out those mattress rocket batteries. They just looked like so much fun.

Don't Armoured Canadians Infantry HAVE to take universal carrier scouts as a compulsory unit?

Anyhow.
I would drop the 4x 6pdrs, and get some UC scouts and a few SP bofors, just to fill the recon and AA gaps .(Unless I am looking at the wrong list.In which case ooops. )

I'd personally take the 25pdrs over land mattress - I find the reroll to save from an all guns repeat is far better than the extra hit of the rickets

I generally roll horribly for my artillery so no matter what I take it has little effect, just wanted to see the mattress launchers in action.
