Hi guys,
So let me start by saying that I'm not up to date with the majority of video game news, 40k related or not. On some occasions I get the info from forums and the such, so I want to ask what the future holds for 40k related video games hold.
Wasn't THQ responsible for those? (I'm not completely sure) and didn't they go bankrupt??
I'd like to hear more from you guys, and thanks in advance.

Someone picked up the 40k license in the auction.
The last 40k game was Space Marine. Which was a decent third person shooter and it captured the setting quite well.
The problem with it was that it was really designed as a multi-player game, and it was only an ok one at that.
Sega picked up the Warhammer Fantasy license, and supposedly a Fantasy game is in the works, but I forget who has the 40k license.

I'd say it's a bright future. Relic is with Sega, who ae noted for their good RTS games, so some new DoWs are quite likely. We have a very interesting sounding 40K MMO called Eternal Crusade slated for 2015. And there's also a company working on a Space Hulk game.
Anyway, it's not just THQ/Relic that's responsible for 40K vidya. According to the lead dev for Eternal Crusade, Games Workshop actually hands the IP out to multiple game makers these days. E.g, one company gets the rights to make an MMO, one gets the rights to make an RTS, ect.
Here's a thread with all current info on the MMO, by the way.

That's...oddly sensible. Huh, I was not expecting that.
