What are some of the best deals you can get from GW? I mean, most models with higher points, in one box, for a low price.
I think it is the 5 metal stormtroopers in one box for $20.
Or it could be the old chaos daemons or IG battleforce.
What have you guys thought was actually a good (or better, it is GW) deal when buying 40k?

The old Daemons Battleforce/Battalion was pretty good. I almost bought one, even though I didn't play them nor had any plans on starting.
Not sure if it qualifies in this thread, but the Cadian minipack (the one with five snap fit Guardsmen), that's much cheaper a model than the regular box.
I bought two of those at the local GW store, and the staffer gasped and went "You won't get the bitz! The precious bitz!". As if those little knife holders are worth the extra 12 bucks.

Yeah I know right. I bought some of those 5 man packs as well for conscripts. You really don't need knife holders lol I've also bought some of the 5 cultist packs, which are a bit more I think

Termagants are the same, the 5 snap fit Battle for Macragge Termagants are cheaper than a box. A box of 12 is $48au, and 4 boxes of 5 are $46au. You don't get the Devourers, Spinefists (no great loss there), Bormorph bits or Rippers, but if all you're doing is looking to bulk out your Tervigon spawn, the snap fit Termagants are far better value.

The Dark Angels upgrade sprue gets you 5 robed Marines with bolters and a heaping helping of bits for $20. It used to be two sprues for that price until GW wised up. This is compared to the $33 Dark Angels veteran squad box, which is the same sprue plus the standard Marine weapon/command sprue and 5 bases.

Razorback obviously, if you want a Rhino anyway. Spend an additional $2 and then sell the turret to net yourself $10.

Those were the same price before last years price hike IIRC, so it was even better about a year ago.

It's good to see the humble Tactical squad still gives you ten Marines at a price where with other units you'd only get 5. I don't expect it to stay that way, mind.

The Assault on Black Reach was an excellent starter set if you played orks or Space Marines.

Necron christmas deal. An ungodly amount of Necrons for... I think $220 DGS charged, for the same models as the official one going for $250, but you could swap models around too if you wanted. At that price I'm still willing to buy legit GW models. A huge discount over US retail, let alone Aus retail.
DV was also reasonably priced from DGS.
Now excuse me while I go vomit after saying something about GW that wasn't bad.

Hmm, you mean the Necron Mega-force?
I thought it was a weird combination of units.
Sure! You save a lot of money.
But you would be spending even more money to buy the models you need for a list that works.

All the starters have been pretty good
Mccagge
Black Reach
Dark Vengance
are all good deals for the number of models and points you get.
As was Mentioned the Old DA upgrade sprue was great, as was the RW battleforce before the price hike if you were building a bike army.
In Fact all their old bundle kits were good deals, which is probably why they don't make them anymore.

The fact that my Local FLGS still has heaps and heaps of Dire Avengers(The old 10 man set.) And beside that I think the SW battle force is rather good value for money.

Some guy came into hours on the morning of the announcement and bought all of the ones our FLGS had. Not counting, of course, the box I bought the day before, since I'd kept my ear to the ground and knew it was coming

That's the thing - Discount Games Store let you swap out the models you didn't like from the mega force for models that you did like. The official mega force from GW cost more and didn't let you do this. For example I swapped out 5 Necron Immortals, 1 Necron Triarch Stalker, 6 Necron Tomb Blades for 1 croissant, wraiths and praetorians. Twice, since I bought two sets ; p Kept the warriors, command barges, Arks and spyders.

What I'm doing is having bought the Cadian Battleforce, I buy Cadian 5-packs so I can use ALL of my vox casters, sergeant heads, and special weapons (melta, plasma as well from command sprue) bitsso I can make full 10-man platoon squads as needed without excesses of sergeants and grenade launchers in a single squad. And this way, I don't pay for full shock troop boxes. (On a side note, I won the battleforce in an eBay auction for $80 U.S., but I don't think that counts)

The old Imperial Guard had some pretty good deals. 20 Cadians for slightly less than the price of a tac squad. The onld battle force was amazing as well. 20 Cadians, a LRBT and 3 Heavy Weapons.

The current battleforce is 20 Jungle fighters, 1 Command squad, 3 Heavy weapons and a Sentinel... For €100
