I just started a lizardmen army that is mostly infantry, but the cases I have wont hold very many Warhammer Fantasy models, especially things like a Slann. What is a good carrying case for Warhammer Fantasy?

That's a really broad question. I guess the answer is: anything big enough. I currently use a Battlefoam 720 for my VC army, and I'm just using the standard foam loadout. I think that loadout is basically designed for 40k, because some of the fiddly bits don't fit really well (like spearmen).

I find the standard GW case works quite well for me it holds my 76 saurus warriors, 30 temple guard, 10 skinks, assorted heroes and 5 stegadons.

8000 Dark Angels (No primaris)
10000 Lizardmen (Fantasy I miss you)
3000 High Elves
4000 Kel'shan Ta'u

I use KR Carry Cases, since they're just fantastic in my opinion and they work for pretty much anything. For larger models, like a Slann or a Stegadon, you can just remove one of the trays in the case and place the model there, wrapped in bubblewrap or something. That's what I do with my tanks for Orks in 40k. I can fit two Battlewagons and half a dozen bikers, all packed in nicely with bubblewrap, in one side, and dozens of infantry in the other side.

TO be honest, I use a 10 dollar tote from wal-mart, 10 dollars in magnets from hobby lobby, and 5 dollar strong magents for my minis,

everything for my empire is magnetized to a movement tray.

No issues, easy transport and super fast set up

Magnetized movement trays + tupperware boxes.

I am dead serious. It's awesome and your army is ready to play asap.

I have a case that after your suggestions I think would work, what kind of foam would work well to cut spots out of movement trays and figures(thinking along the lines of what battlefoam uses, and where if anywhere would sell it)?

It depends how you need to transport.
If you need it for the airlines battle foam is great if you just put it in your car magnetized movement trays are great.

You can buy packing foam. packing pluck foam for electronics is available from american companies like uline but often for what it costs, you might as well buy the one with the fancy bag from a game company like kr multicase or battle foam.

Everyone has their favorite cases:

-Battlefoam is expensive, but customized to your army. If money is not really an object, it's probably worth it
-I started with Citadel cases and have mixed feelings about them. I really don't feel like they're flexible enough to give you good capacity for large models. (Maybe I'm just bad at tetris.) I concede that's problem with foam, not problem with case though.
-Picked up an Army Transport case recently, going to see how it works out when I finally finish my additional dredds/trukks.
-Tupperware and such with packing foam is cheap

Orks - "Da Rust Gitz" : 3000 pts
Empire - "Nordland Expeditionary Corps" : 3000 pts
Dwarfs - "Sons of Magni" 2000 points
Cygnar - "Black Swan" 100 pts
Trollbloods - "The Brotherhood"
Haqqislam- "Al-Istathaan": 300 points
Commonwealth - Desert Rats /2nd New Zealand 1000 points

For fantasy, I play Orcs and Goblins, and since I have so many infantry models, it is very tough to find a case, and the hassle of bringing them out and ranking them up on movement trays was very arduous. So what I did, was magnetize my movement trays. I simply attatched magnets to the bases and then lined the trays with metal. So I could just buy a generic case from harbor freight and stack them in there, or a tackle box for fishing. And if you magnetize them properly, there should be no problem with damage. Just figure out the units you use the most and arrange and magnetize accordingly.
