42k The Monster arises - The great powerful Warboss of the Octarius War has finally gained the upper hand, pushing back hive fleet leviathan. This massive waaagh became extremely large and powerful. The whole galaxy is in danger but the threat was finally stopped when the Imperium send in many chapters and imperial guard forces to stop it.

43k The Silent King's growing empire - The silent king has gathered a bunch of lost and powerful necron dynasties to join his empire for the coming threat.

43k The Void Dragon awakens - The C'tan on mars finally awakes, bringing oblivion to all who dares to get in its way. It was finally destroyed by the combined might of the sol system defenders...at great cost.

44k The Tyranid main force enters the galaxy, the sheer numbers of tyranid forces alerts most of the other races. The imperium of Men and Eldar join forces to fight a huge tyranid force on one front while the Taus and Necron join forces to fight on another front. All the tyranid eventually died out.

45k - All the remaining races grew in population and firepower, preparing for a great battle in the far future.

47k Chaos forces stops they're assaults on real space for reasons unknown, the imperium can only guess why, non agressive pacts are made between most of the remaining races.

48k - The Outsider has come back for the necrons, causing a great war between the powerful c'tan and the necron, the c'tan is finally destroyed and imprisoned.

49k the final battle - The dark gods has focus they're powers to form a gigantic eye of terror, allowing countless trillions of daemons to storm the galaxy, all the traitor legion lead by Abaddon also joins the endless daemon horde to conquer the galaxy. The Imperium fights with everything they got. The dark eldar and eldar unites to fight them together. The tau and necrons also fights them on their side. Ork looks at this as the best chance they'll get for a good fight. In the end Abaddon dies and the invasion ends, the galaxy is saved.

50k - Peace happens for awhile but soon a mysterious force arrives into the galaxy, the force that was scaring off the tyranids, what kind of threat would this be? only time would tell.

I don't think that the Tyranids could just run out like that. They've eaten while other galaxies, so they'll have whole galaxies worth of biomass to make all the organisms they could need to overwhelm a lone galaxy.

Look up a dude named LordLucan. He's got whole 50k and 60k alternate/future history written out. He's currently got a 30k alt history where Horus doesn't go Chaos. It looks pretty sick so far.

Very good reads. Grimdark as feth, but that's part of their appeal.

Why would the Imperium sign non-aggression pacts?

It's much easier to keep a population in line when you have bogeymen terro-, er, I mean, xenos to threaten them with. It also helps maintain that war-time economy.

Better to wipe those Xenos out while you've got the chance.

Any organism needs to feed constantly or it will lose mass, millenia in the void are going to take their toll. Wouldn't be surprised if entire hive fleets died off inbetween galaxies. Not to mention the biomass they expend when fighting for a new feeding ground.

I would assume that they're hibernating or something between trips. Their whole schtick is that they adapt, so they've probably found a way to mitigate or even avoid this.

But all we've seen so far are scout fleets. The main force is going to be able to pour on such stupidly large numbers that losses aren't really going to be an issue.

Also, they can very easily replace lost biomass.

Read paragraph two. All they have to do is be sneaky and gather corpses and they're eventually ready to attack in force once more. And hell, it doesn't even have to be corpses. Plants, and local wildlife would work fine.

51k - Chaos forces returns, after a major defeat in 49k, they decided to corrupt other races to fight the imperium instead of there own.. A powerful greater daemon called the Controller has taken control of the Hive Mind, corrupting all remaining tyranids. Another powerful greater daemon called the Metal Fiend has taken control of half the necron forces, corrupting the machines. Chaos are now using these two powerful races to fight the Imperium. The Imperium formed a major alliance with the combined Eldar empire, the Orks, the remaining Necrons and the Taus to fight back this new threat. The Metal Field and Controller escaped in the final battle.

52k - The Metal Fiend and the Controller becomes one, the Demonic Soul Burner. This powerful being wipes out countless fleets from the alliance, all seems lost but the Emperor has been resurrected by Necron Tech. The Emperor fights with the Demonic Soul Burner, defeating it in single combat.

53k The Imperium now supercharged by the Emperor's resurrection declares war on its allies, the necrons, taus, orks, and eldars, crushing them. the necrons are completely wiped out and all the c'tan shards escapes. the eldar and tau retreats to the corner of the galaxy. And the orks returns to fighting each other.

54k Chaos forces returns and they had made a bargain with the c'tan shards, a great force made up of countless greater daemons and c'tan shards marches towards holy terra, destroying billions of imperium fleets. The emperor rally its forces and creates a major counter attack before they could enter holy terra. The enemy forces has been destroyed, the leader of this invasion the great daemon of rage kills one of the c'tan shards and consumes it powers, allowing it to use a fusion of its own abilities and the c'tans. the Emperor destroys it after a great battle.

55k - Khorne has somehow created a avatar of himself and sends it to real space, destroying countless trillions of imperium ships and planets, the emperor sends the great golden fleet and fights it.

56k The avatar of Khorne is finally banished after the emperor stabs it in the heart with his powerful divine weapon.

57k A great civil war happens between the combined Eldar empire, trillions of eldar fleets are lost in this great civil war, the Eldar splits back to the dark eldars and eldars.
