Hi all. Got a nice fat gift voucher so thought I'd branch out of my standard Menoth hit you in the face to something nice, new and shooty! I have the start of :

I keep reading ideas I really like and then changing my mind, I like the idea of full Storm Blades with all the attachments, then I really like the Gun Mages/Black 13th route. I'd quite like a list which can easily be bumped to 50pts so if people could give me ideas on where to go with it. I play with some ruthless fellas who would like nothing more than to destroy me as my Menoth really does kick some butt!

I also have a healthy amount of Mercs - Gorman (who I'd like to put in here), (e)Eiryss, Ciannor & risen, Kell Bailoch, Doc Killingsworth, Aiyana & Holt, Anastasia, Ragman.

So if some of y'all could give me some ideas and tactics I'd be really greatful!

So after a lot more research I've got this 35pt build I like :

eHaley
(bonded) Stormwall
Squire

Arcane Tempest Gun Mage + UA
Black 13th Gun Mage Strike Team

Lady Aiyana & Master Holt
eEiryss

I think it can handle near anything I could come up against, I think there is A LOT of priority targets there, enough for at least half of the army to be fully maximized. Aiyana & Holt are there to magic up the Stormwalls attacks, the other idea for those 4 points is Ragman and Gorman.

To boost to 50, I was thinking I could drop Aiyana & Holt for another Stormwall, but without a Jnr I feel that its redundant but if I take a Jnr I think I could fit the Arc Node in (I've never ever played with an Arc Node, so I'm assuming that Haley can still cast through them even though its not her 'jack?). Its this final 15 points that is really doing my head in!

Cheers brah, I thought it was one or the other but as I said I have literally never used an Arc Node before so was unsure. That rules out that train of thought.

Get another heavy hitter of some kind in there, if you have just the one, and they manage to black oil you with gorman/sneak a bronzeback or something equally smashy through (even if it just has 3 health, so long as that is in the right spot it can probably one round the stormwall), you'll be in a world of hurt. But that's just me, I probably won't be much help at all since I've honestly never looked at an eHaley stormwall army. Well, yet. I will eventually, but I'm having too much fun trying to learn eCaine and pStryker well.
