Hi guys,

I'm planning to go to a tournament and try a CSM shooting list to test if it's possible to use this kind of list and still winning. Due it's possible a massive assistance of Eldar and Tau player will go too, this time I prefer to avoid the use of flyers. Here is the list:

HQ
Chaos sorc lvl 3, VotLW

TROOPS
3x 10 men CSM squads with bolters and VotLW; AC with PS and MB, 2 PG
10 men cultist squad
11 men cultist squad

ELITE
3x 5 men Terminator squad, Reaper autocannon and PF

HEAVY SUPPORT
8 men havoc squad with 4 LC; VodLW
8 men havoc squad with 4 AC; VodLW

FORTIFICATION
ADL with quad cannon

Well, what do you think of this shooting list?

I'd try to switch one cultist squad and possibly all your CSM squads for Noise Marines. They are way more shooty, and will handle hoard armies better than what you have now. Plus, they are fearless so they will be able to hold whatever you want them to.

Hed have to take a Chaos lord w/ MoS to take NM as troop choice.
NMs are a good choice tho. So ur basically goin for a gun line right?
Reduce the number of havocs to 5 per squad. Drop the cultists. This should free up some points for more dakka. Maybe more havocs? If you take a unit of noise marines then drop the AC havocs.
Oblits are very shooty.

5 chosen + ac vs 5 termi with reaper ac + fist

No contest termi win but so much more expensive. If you just wanted an ac then take 5 chosen and shoot 48" away. The termi can ds in range, shoot & charge with in next turn because of relentless, but it is more expensive.

Other option is riflebrute, switch mm for ac.

Definately go nm since you have no banner of devestation to make bolters deadly. Spam blast masters.

why the reaper ac on the terminators? it's 25pts, you can swap it for 5 combi weapons on all the dudes and DS in an waste some stuff.

Oh yeah, not enough noise...

I would AT LEAST dump the AC havoc squad for a 5 man noise unit with at least 1 blastmaster...he can blast more MEQ than all the auto cannons combined

I would have another Noise squad w/ sonic blasters for close support...the ignoring cover is just too good
