That game room is like some sort of gamer Valhalla that we go to when we die, right?

Right.....?

@Alpharius Yeah, I certainly would not want to live in that place.

@Alex C Indeed! When you die, you get teleported into my basement for some serious gaming and diorama building!

Here's Cruz:

Here's a group shot. I chose to change the bases of the figures to add more dirt. I noticed that they look better in my dioramas with more dirt.

Here's Ungefelic, the Manticore!

Lovely!

Did you happen to also get Mierce's Chimera too?

I'd love to see that monster painted up to the standards in this thread!

@Alpharius If you mean the Terror of Fortriu, then yes. He is already on page 4 of this thread.

Well, my memory is going - but yours isn't, thankfully!

Just gives me a reason to review all the awesome work in this thread!

Including this, of course!

Thanks for the responses guys.

Seb finished painting the Terror of Fortriu. Here are some pics. This is a huge and beautifully detailed model! Let me know what you guys think of it.

This thread might have the largest conglomeration of over the top, amazingly painted models I've ever seen. Everything is too great, it's literally impossible to pick a favorite.

@Darth Bob - I am glad you like the models!

Just when you guys thought you had seen the last of Bohun's pirates, here are a few more:

@Darth Bob and Alpharius: Agreed, I really like the freehand on the robe myself!

I thought I would share with you some pictures of the new 5th Edition D&D campaign my friend, Jericho, is DMing.

The First Adventure - Kobolds and Cultists Invade the Town!

A few pics from the first adventure-

Attack on the road - Two cultists, four kobolds against the intrepid party of adventurers. A crypt is seen in the background but goes undetected by the party.

Approaching the town around the nearby castle ...the party sees 6 kobolds attacking two villagers.

The elf ranger engages first to save the villagers ...

The female paladin joins the fray...

Being victorious, the party escorts the villagers deeper into the town and is ambushed by a cultist leader on the bridge with three cultists jumping the party from behind...

After defeating the three cultists, the party engages the leader.

While not shown in the pictures, we were victorious. In the next adventure, we will continue to clear the town and, hopefully, get an audience with the king in the castle...

Your tables are truly awe-inspiring.

They take the minis to the next level. It's the stuff out of catalogs.

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

@GiraffeX and gunslingerpro Thanks, guys! I am happy you like my setups.

Here are two more Otherworld old school ogres painted by the talented Bohun:

That scenery table is really impressing. I'm curious too, where's terrain and buildings from?

@Siyath I am glad you like it. Terrain is from Terranscapes and buildings are from Tabletop World.

@LutherMax See above. It is a modular setup that I change to suit the adventure and to just setup interesting dioramas.

@LutherMax Me too! Mananaan is also my favorite. He looks great!

More Bohun Otherworld ogres. Otherworld miniatures are awesome because their models look like the monsters in the old school first edition D&D Monster Manual. Bohun is painting the models to be true to the descriptions (and colors) in that Monster Manual. Except, of course, these guys like to tattoo themselves with scars!

Oh... my... this is just... words can not contain... when I saw the name of this thread I thought you where being pretty cocky.. nope you really meant this was the best. The Miniatures are gorgeous and that table is... pure euphoria! I must ask, where do you get those amazing norse models from? ( That Rollo is a beauty and I NEED one ) And also you have these cool battle scar covered warhounds, I've never seen those before either, where did they come from too?

Absolutely incredible! I think firmly crosses the line between art and tabletop wargaming, so inspirational.

Love the terrain as well, and the write-up about events. Can I ask what rule set you are using for it?

@Rogue Wolves I am happy you like the models and the table. Many of the models come from Mierce Miniatures, including Rollo (who also is one of my favorite models and paint job). The warhounds are also from Mierce Minatures.

@Pacific Thanks! It was 5th Edition D&D. I will continue posting more pics as the adventure continues.

@KorNot Thanks. To be clear, I commissioned these works from very talented painters. I did not paint them myself. Alas, I am a mere patron of the arts, not an artist myself.

@GiraffeX Thanks! I like Itaina as well. But, I actually prefer Naara (shown below).

@Alpharius As a recurring poster, your kind words are always appreciated.

Here's Naraa, my favorite female model so far-

Here's Nakatan's Sorcerer. He took a long time to paint it, but his skills are incredible.

Here's Nakatan's Sorcerer in a DF cavern.

He and his two comrades are surrounded by a dangerous group of trolls. Fortunately for the party of adventurers, the Sorcerer has the high ground.

The fighter is surrounded by three of the fearsome beasts-

The ranger is taking on the largest of the group of trolls-

The group of trolls is led by a shaman perched on a high ledge, shouting instructions and readying his spells-
