After years of 40k, I am going to try and step over to the P3 side of the island - how's this for a first step?

Target opponents are friendly games for now, maybe more later when life slows down a little bit.

pHaley (WJ+5)
Squire
Ol' Rowdy - I simply love this model and the fluff
Hammersmith

ATGM+UA
B13th
Max Sword Knights+UA

Concept - hang back and shoot up their first wave with ATGM and B13 until it's feasible to launch the jacks in their face up the center with support from the Sword Knights. Use pHaley to disrupt enemy jacks and buff friendly models.

I no longer play Cygnar however that being said here is a couple things I notice.

Ol' Rowdy + Hammersmith doesn't really give you the full effectiveness of heavy jacks. Sword Knights love jacks with reach because that triggers their bonus. Non reach jacks don't benefit Sword Knights as much because there are a lot less models in melee range of the jack. A centurion or even a lancer would probably be a better option to run with the Sword Knights.

Ol' Rowdy is a monster plain and simple just don't get caught with his counter charge rule and pull him out of position.

Gunmages are a staple might be a bit redundant to run both the B13 and ATGM+UA but I did run them both at times.

Perhaps dropping the Hammersmith for a Defender.

Sword Knights' bonus, Flank, triggers whether the 'jack has reach or not. True, you might be able to squeeze in one more Knight if the friendly 'jack has reach, but that won't exactly win games by itself. Every list needs spam, especially a ranged one like this, and the Knights fill that role nicely. For super cheap to boot.

IMHO, the Hammersmith goes great with Haley, and even better with her epic version. This list has a lot of raw power that is begging to take advantage of both versions of the caster.

Use the Smith to slammed everything out of the way that blocks LOS to the enemy 'caster, then gun them to death with the wonderful ranged options in this list. I think ATGM and the Black 13th both are excellent for this. pHaley's feat guarantees that enough shots get down range to pull off the assassination.

If the guns fail, run Rowdy down the middle of the new chasm the Hammersmith creates in their formations and let Tremor and MAT 8 do the work for you.

Solid list, solid strategy, and doesn't need a lot of new models to go epic with the same 'caster.
