What I want to know is simple.

If I make 10 precision shots (snipers with sharpshoot) and I'm firing into a squad of troops with a commander... If I allocate 10 wounds to the commander, killing him with 3, are the other seven lost?

I believe the answer is yes, we are currently in the middle of a game (i'm watching) and it just came up.

You allocate the first Wound, and resolve it.
Then you allocate the second Wound, and resolve it.
Repeat as necessary for the precision shots.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

In short the answer is no. You allocate wounds 1 at a time, so you cannot allocate the last 7 to a dead guy, you have to pick someone else

As above. You only fast roll (allocate all 10) if this would have no affect on the game (10 grunts, for example)

As this has an effect, you allocate one at a time.

Cleanest way I have seen to explain that.
