hello eveyone, I joind the site recently(like 5 months ago) and was wondering if anyone new of any cheap stores, online or not, that sell W40k minitures, most notabley dark Vengeance. Me and a friend have been quite the fan of the W40k univese and Dawn of war an have been wanting to strat playing with the minitures.

Any help is appreciated and sorry if this is the wrong place.

Well Australians get screwed on price across the board.

The aus dollar has also hit a big slump which means we don't get as much of the benefit of importing on the cheap.

I use ebay for small orders, keeping my eye out for deals.

I use combat company for mid sized orders, when shipping becomes free, they have really fast delivery and a variety of paints, brush and bases stock, and are cheaper than gw stores.

I use discount games store for very large orders, where i pretty much want to buy the main army. Long delivery time, however the aus dollar being low may affect the value.

Black Cultist is where I buy everything 40k related. They just recently added Army Painter basing stuff, which is just awesome. Free delivery to Canberrans as well, but still cheap with shipping. They have the best customer service i have ever dealt with, as well.

Hello. I am the friend mentioned earlier. We are looking for starter packs, such as Dark Vengeance or Assault on Black Reach.

I generally buy eBay or from Bitzbarn. You generally want to buy in bulk from places like Bitzbarn (I like to order stuff with my friends and split the shipping fees).

Bitzgalaxy on ebay is really good if you are after parts. also tabletop_miniatures_australia is good as well they stock more sets them parts.

I have only done one order via TMA and I honestly didn't have any trouble. But if you're referring to that blog post I must say that is a LOT of money to throw at a first time buy from an unknown seller, I'm just saying.

I had a nice surprise tonight since I buy all my stuff retail. A local video game store started stocking GW stuff but charging above RRP. Tonight I walked in and they've changed to about 20% off plus a free paint for every $30 spent.

Walked out with a box of new Raptors and some silver since I've run out for $40.

I almost fell over the other day when I walked into the toyworld here and found a pack of assault marines for $20. Score

i remember when toyworld was a stockist in the 90's.... hahah.
iv used The Combat Company for all local purcahses, great service, ship easily in 24 hours and its here in perth within 2 days ( express post ) priced reasonably for in aus and usually have most stock of most goodies

I'll definantly check out those out and i'll see if my local toyworld has anything.

I think the toyworld was a one off but you never know.

depends what your looking for. i just bought a heap of daemons off them, they get new stock in all the time so thats never really a drama, i havent seen an online aussie stockist that has everything all the time.

true I was just looking at some of the SM stuff.

Where was this? Sounds interesting (seeing as this might be the only way I get GW paint from now on ;-))
