Hi guys, in my new 2.5k LM list I have 2 Scar-vets on Carnosaurs, so I already have 624 point of Heroes.
Does the points to make one a BSB add in to the 25% limit, or is it seperate?
Thanks,
Lucarikx

Yes, it does. Everything that costs points counts towards the %-limit.

Yah. A model cost is a model cost. Liz can choose to put the BSB at the Hero level or Lord level, but it still is going to limit one of them.

How much do LM need a BSB now? They seemed to cope without it in the old book.

BSB is just too good, and on a LD9 general it is also great. Assuming they dont lose combat...
I never saw a LM army without a BSB. The reroll is just too good

Except undead armies. Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh, Lucarikx, have you considered a Slaan BSB? The points would come out of your Lord slot in that case.

The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that. |

Undead still often take the BSB, although for different reasons. Namely its another magic banner slot and -1 crumble is always nice.
