Hey everybody, I am debating starting a GK APOC list and wanted some input. Never played GK before but I know I wanna run a pure list. From stalking the lists on here (as well as taking my personal preference into account) I am toying around with the kit on the following list.

HQ: Libby with yet to be dertermined kit
UNK other HQ choice (GM or INQ is what I am leaning to)

Troops:
2 x 10 man GK SS
2 x 5 man Termi (one in LR-R w/libby)

HS:
2 x Dreadknights

Fast:
1 x 10 man interceptors

Elite:

2 x 5 man paladins (one with the other HQ choice in LR-R)

Fort:
ADL or fortress of redemption

Let me know what everyone thinks and any modifications I should make.

What points are you going for?

The best thing about Apoc is that you don't need to follow the FOC. I've found that Marines always die in droves during Apoc, so it's best to avoid them. Stack up on Termies and DKnights.

Depending on how many points you're taking, I'd suggest:
Draigo - 275
10 Paladins (4psycans, Psybolts, Apocathery) - 725
PML3 Libby (Divination [and depending on the first two rolls, Pyromancy], Stave) - 235
LRC (Melta, psybolts) - 270

That would run you 1505pts.
Combat squad the psycan Paladins and DS to hit rear armour.
Put the other models in the LRC and trundle up the board! Watch out for Super-Heavies!

the dread knight with 3 storm ravens looks to be a decent formation
i just need 1 more storm raven...
the 3 dread knights formation is the biggest waste I've ever seen
other than that, in apoc I would def be running around with a draigo deathstar,,

10 paladins with 4 psycannons, brotherhood banner, apothecary, then I give 2 psycannons with hammers, 2 psycannons with swords, and the rest with halberds

The single downside with this instead of a Libby is that Coteaz can't DS. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to DS in Apoc (I'VE never done it!), but it's an option to keep open.

I like it starting on the board cuz its durable enough to walk right now the board, and in doing that you are in range of something in turn 1... and with 4 psycannons rerolling hits... its just nasty

Who needs to deepstrike, just give them scout from grand strategy, and watch your opponenets face as your 1100 point deathstar comes in from the side behind their lines.

(I did this at a 2k tournament, only had 10 strikes and 2 dreads on the board, was against guard. T3 My deathstar comes on and its basically game over)

A lot of people say that its too many points in 1 unit...
But the amount of damage it does makes up for it every time I've used it

Points arent really an issue, we ussually play about 8k each side and as the junior player, I generally build a supplement list that just adds to the rest of my team, so we can flex a few thousand points eaither direction based on what the objective is that game. I really just want something that will actually help and be able to have an impact on the game rather than just going for secondary objectives or sacrificing troops for the greater good
