As per the subject, do you still get the 6"' from going flat out even when failing the difficult terrain check or do you get immobilzed on the spot before making th 6''?

You are immobilized on the spot that would have generated the dangerous terrain check.

So if you started in terrain, you do not move. If you crossed over the terrain (in a non skimmer) then you stop there. And so on

You take one DT test per piece of terrain. So if the vehicle starts movement on terrain and fails the DT test then it doesn't move at all and it becomes immobilised. If the DT test is successful and then the vehicle moves to a new piece of terrain, it rolls another DT test, and if the DT is unsuccessful it stops moving and becomes immobilised at that spot.

if i am not mistaken all the replies are regarding terrain, however i am talking about the dangerous terrain check (not actual terrain) you are forced to make when going flat out, do you take it before moving the 6'' or at the end of the 6''?

You don't take DT tests when moving flat out if you don't enter terrain.

NO such rule exists. Thats why we're talking about terrain....

Okay i must be misinterpreting something then, the reason i believed going flat out triggered a dangerous terrain check is as follows:
page 72 brb first paragraph: "moving flat out""
"immediately moving 6", this move triggers dangerous terrain test as normal"
So the only thing they mean to say is that you have to test for dangerous terrain when you enter difficult terrain in the same way as during normal movement?

Yes, that's the normal way for triggering a dangerous terrain test.

Yes; "as normal" means "you still trigger Dang. Terrain tests, as you normally would do so"
You dont trigger a dang terrain test just for moving, but for moving through terrain
