So, lemme start off by saying I played about 6 hours total between EQ1 and EQ2. But this looks pretty cool. I mean, non instanced, destructible terrain in an MMO? Jawsome.

Yeah, I heard about this on the content patch. It sounds extremely ambitious and risky, but if they pull it off it's going to be fantastic.

Yeah, I am pretty jazzed up about the idea of them doing the Everquest Landmark thing - in case anyone doesn't want to watch the whole long video, they are basically doing an Everquest Minecraft thing well before EQ Next comes out, where everyone can use the game tools to build building and what have you.

That is pretty much how I feel about it.

Wow. That looks......incredibly gorgeous. Even as a teaser that got me pretty excited, specially since Ive been playing EQ2 lately. Id have to dump some cash into my computer though, because WOW, that would take some gaming rig for sure

I've never been too interested in EverQuest before, but I think this one might actually draw me in. I know my girlfriend is super excited for it...she and her brother are trying to get their hands on the beta when it's released.

And if you're drinkin' well, you know that you're my friend and I say "I think I'll have myself a beer"

Everquest was THE MMO back in the day, EQN could put them back on top if all these promises come true.

Last time I played EQ2 I made a Ogre Paladin. It was worth going through all the quests to leave your faction and build up reputation with the 'good' side so they wouldn't kill me on site.

Why are all the holes created by abilities perfect circles?

Could be cool... or there could be genitalia castles everywhere.

I applied myself for Beta on EQ Next. This would probably be insane if they pull it off. I kind of hope it'll bring back the mental original feel I had one I started EQ in early 2000. Seems I might have to go back to DE since I went Iksar when Kunark came out.

Yea I'm surprised at how much I like EQ2 so far. Right now I'm running a Gnome berserker with a massive nose and as small add possible. It's hilarious. I saved some poor healer from a mob of orcs the other day like a BAMF. I think the size just ads to how awesome it was.

In the same vein, I made a halfling necromancer because it amused me. I think he was the second one in the entire game too (behind the imaginatively named Polter Geist ).

EVERQUEST the original. My favorite game of all time, not really sure how I feel about this one. It does look very World of Warcraftish visually.

I always wanted to play everquest. The only reason I didn't was because of how fast you had to upgrade your pc to keep up with each expansion. To much work for one game. I'm hoping that wont be the case this time around.
