hi i want to know what i should get next for a 500 point army as my FLGS is having a 500 point games day

i have a warboss

45 boyz

3 meganobz

looted rhino transport

9 stormboyz

zapp gun

is any of this useful at 500 points besides the boyz and the warboss

Mhm i think something like this would work for 500p with what you currently got.


Warboss (115pts)
Mega-armour, cybork body, bosspole

Troops (385pts)
Da Boss' Nobz (165pts)
3x mega armored nobz
Trukk (45pts)
Big shoota, Boarding plank, Reinforced ram

Ork Boyz (220pts)
30 Boyz
29x Shoota
1Nob (46pts)
Bosspole, Power klaw.

Well this ends up on 500p ;D

Just get 2 squads of 29 boyz with a nob with PK each and then a war boss with PK that should be about 500 point list and its pretty competitive

Indeed, but sadly he doesnt have enough boyz for that :/

And meganobz all are troops cus of the warboss
The zap gun is pretty useless.
Is about 475ish so grab some upgrades

Competitive =/= fun.

This build is nothing but point and click, a more exhausting version of the gunline

OP, alot of 500pt games have a reduced force org chart meaning only one HQ and one troop choice are *needed*. You should find out if that is the case here

Probably not, but can vary from store to store.

Local game stores, and good old fashioned Man Cave games are less likely to care

Barrel Extentions = Easy conversion with minimal work ..and then the entire force can count as either no sweat ..(most folk wont balk if you take the time to make them look good and orky ..just make sure the styrene tube that you use fits just over the barrel stub of the slugga.. wrap a tiny bit of bell wire or thin trimmed Greenstuff over the junction then touch up with brush primer and paint so they look nice ..
