So I was thinking of getting some grot tanks as a stand in for killa kans for my blood axes. Do y'all think this would be more in theme for a BA army?

Just use them as Grot Tanks man, that 5++ is much better than the WS2 DCCW

But you could have both if you have a KFF.

Grot tanks would be fluffy I suppose, but killa kans can always be fluffy for BA. Just give them foreign weapons and plenty of foreign armour plates if wanted.

well when allowed i would use them as grot tanks.. but ya knw, sometimes you run into those players that dont like fw stuff being used.

Most of the FW stuff honestly isnt that bad, its (obviously) apoc level stuff and a few random models throughout all the armies that kinda stand out and go "Um...thats crazy" lol.

Usually if they deny FW its either because they feel hindered because they dont have any (which is valid in some cases) or they just dont like the idea of a "third party" augmenting the game, since thats basically what it is even though GW took over FW.

Let them have a problem with it and dont play with them if they do. They are a legal part of the game, are basically for all terms and purposes part of GW and you should have the right to play them as Grot Tanks or even proxy them as long as they are WYSIWYG enough to not create confusion.

It wouldn't worry me, they're similar enough. If you have the grot tank rules on hand too, you can use them as whatever is most convenient at the time.

where I live people are pains because they dont really like to pay big bucks for forgeworld books (neither do I personally) so they all feel like your cheating some how *sigh*
