A while back I made some terrain, and I was wondering if I should put this (or more like it) on ebay, and if so, for how much? thanks for your feedback!
P.S. constructive criticism is appreciated

What's the material? Knowing terrain will last is a factor for me.

Honestly? It's functional, but I don't think you're going to be able to sell it. It's pretty basic and not really beyond what anyone can do themselves, so why pay for it instead of building their own?

I think its ok, I think you could sell a few at low cost, say 5 bucks. I dont think its going to make you a ton of money tho.

It looks good.
But material + effort + shipping/etc would make it too expensive.
For that price I'd prefer one of the imperial buildings.

i imagine you could get a couple bucks profit after you factor in the cost of materials. Theyre decent but basic. Most terrain that actually sells for more than 2-5 bucks are either using expensive fancy bitz like a destroyed rhino body (automatically bumps the price by like 20 or so, depending on how much of the rhino you used) or have an insane level of detail while still being durable.
But you gotta start somewhere. Honestly youre better off trying to make top notch terrain if you wanna make some cash than you are trying to paint models to resell. Terrain people are lazy to make and are dirt cheap to make, painting models is expensive (as you need the model obviously) and VERY difficult to reach that level of skill to make people not immediately go "It doesnt match my army...." and not want it. My friends try to talk me into selling my paintjobs, but i compare my work to the stuff i find on ebay thats higher than the model normally is and mine is sick and frail in comparison lol.
I wouldnt sell those unless it was local just because they arent worth the shipping. You'd pay whatever profit you made just to send it off.

P.P.S. I don't need to make a large profit (I'm just a teen) but I just want to make a little cash to go into my model fund

Honestly since time is money, when you factor the effort put into this he'd actually be operating at a loss.

While the construction itself is solid, the scorch marks are cool, and the walpapers add alot, I have having a slight issue with them.
They are too small to make sense.
You see, its a ruin-meaning someone built it for some reason before it got blown up.
So what WAS it, before gak hit the fan? (and why does the "big" one have no place that fits where a door would have been?)
As for selling it...sorry mate, but I don't really see it. most people either make their own, or spend big bucks on the really cool stuff. (for example, my group makes our own random stuff, but bought a few of the big kits, just because they are big and impressive, and were SO much out of our skill to build. like the wall of martyrs trenches.)

Nay, but your on the right track, like the above poster said, logical dimensions and former uses. I really do like the first building though, and with enough of stuff like this you could make a dirty urban setup.

I wouldn't buy it from eBay, but I do really like it. I'd love to see a guide on how to do this myself.

I don't think you'd get enough on ebay to outweigh, your time, materials and cost of shipping.
The building is OK, but what kills it for me is the base. The edges need to be one color and beveled downward or evenly cut strait. I recommend using hardboard (8 bucks for a 4x8 sheet at home repair stores) as you can easily cut it to shape and dress the edges.
Also, it is in desperate need of some rubble/ballast/texture. I see a bit of texture on the brown, but the grey ruined building is pristine. Get some sand, grave, or even cheap kitty litter and make it look like the ground around a ruined building. Right now the broken sections of cement on the ground look odd, but if surrounded by rubble they'd look all right.
All in all, it's a fine beginner effort, and I'm sure it works good on the tabletop, but it's not really ready for prime-time as a for-sale project.
As an example of texturing, and neat edges (in this case strait cut), here's a piece my friend made. It's not an amazing piece, -just something he threw together quickly- but note how the texture and even edges help the overall look.
Here's another example, where ballast (sand and gravel in this case) and flock turns a piece of PVC stuck to a CD into decent terrain.
Lastly here's what beveled (rounded or sloped off) edges can do for pieces of terrain. Even if it forms an abrupt end to the ballasted area, it still looks nice and neat and rounds nicely into the table. It looks much more professional, but all it took was a minute or so with some sandpaper and a bit of paint.
Anywho, hope this wasn't too harsh. You're off to a good start. Best of luck with future projects.

Looks a lot like terrain I used when I started out. Use textured spraypaint to give the buildings some grit and something for paint to pick up on. You can drybrush those right quick and they'll look solid. That and covering up/rounding off the edges will do you a world of good.

It looks good to use for your own games. It doesn't really look professional enough to justify selling.
In the 3rd picture showing the blast hole from the front of the structure, you can see a big gap between the structure and the base of the terrain.
