Trying to quote someones post and when I hit post, their text is out of the quote parameters.

I tried editing, checking the code and if they are placed properly and all looks good, even in the preview it shows as it should be.

Maybe your local cache is corrupt. Try clearing it, see if that helps.

If it was this post, the issue was with the /spoiler tag being outside the quote.

If you edited the quote manually, it just means you put them in the wrong order. If it was just from hitting the 'quote' button, I would say the system must be getting confused with quoting spoiler tages.
