On the WoK FB group you can see more bases. I think these are Hadross, Tekness and Nasier. They are looking good.

My Goritsi and Teknes came in earlier this week, but I just now had a chance to open them and give them a quick eyeball.

Caveat, I'm just squinting through the outside plastic here, but this is some of the nicest PVC I've seen. You can tell CMON spent a lot of time properly tooling for the material. No egregious mould lines across highly textured areas. No super skinny ankle/wrist joints that you know will never properly straighten. They appear to have supplied the packers with sidecutters (Mantic, take note).

The proof will be how well everything pegs together, but I'm pretty optimistic on first glance.

The recessed bases have me scratching my head, but I'll probably just take a cue from Flames of War and cover with a layer of drywall mud and add texture before it dries. The pegged figures will work nicely with that approach.

Only figures I've had any difficulty with assembling were the big hairy bull guy from Nasier (Rathor I believe?) and the giant octopus for Hadross. Neither wanted to connect with their intended torso pieces.

I've been filling in bases with sand and white glue, and as it dries, I've been plugging the figure in and pulling them out to create a spot for the pegs to go. It's worked out well so far.

I've got to say overall they're pretty nice figures considering the material. I was putting together some Mantic restic stuff circa the first Kings of War KS, and the difference in the casting quality is pretty apparent.

Still no word on mine. How am I supposed to tease Highlord Tamburlaine with my wolves if CMON won't send them to me?

I've got to say, I'm really enjoying the variety of sculpts you get in a faction box.

Those early stretch goals (whether fake or not) to get more varied sculpts in makes a big difference. Compounded with the fact that what each faction consists of is a bit more unique than the average fantasy figures makes me particularly pleased.

I haven't even started dipping in to the KS bonus figures yet for the most part!

Well, I opened by shipping box. One of mt hardcover books has a ding since it was packed at the very edge of the box with no additional packing material, they sent me 2 of one of the Zombicide figures and none of the second rather than one of each, and I have $40 worth of those bad joke sand bases (as pictured by Bossk_Hogg) instead of the Dark Ages ones that they showed and I paid for. I've got no interest in opening up the individual boxes right now unless there's a specific set that needs QA checking?

And I was charged about US$55 more for shipping than I should have been based on comparison with other CMoN KS campaigns using the same shipping options.

So what's the CMoN contact point to get this stuff rectified? Since they're still shipping their domestic orders I don't expect them to be on top of anything for a little while, but I'd love to get it sorted before they start shipping Zombicide S3.



I've just had a closer look at both the other WoK faction bases and then their bases kickstarter. While I've got no interest in the other factions' bases, these seem like they could be suitable replacements for the Gortisi bases - if they were willing to supply the right amount to cover the Gortisi bases (no idea how many are in the Bases KS batch vs the WoK ones.

Still not nearly as good as the ones shown. If they could somehow supply those instead as I wanted, I'd still be quite happy - even with the inconvenience all this messing around this is. What's CMoN's relationship with Dark Age?

As far as I know, CMON produces all the Dark Age stuff these days.

I know they run all the events whenever they have them.

CMON owns dark, David doust bought it a few years back.

I opened up my Ancient King box today...

....only to find it already occupied by an Iron Eyes with two cloaks instead of one.

Opened up Iron eyes, and there was Iron Eyes in her own box as well.

If you got the mark II leaders add-on, there is a card mispack I do beleive.

I emailed CMoN at the email address listed for problem contacts on their KS page in the comments, and several days later I got a reply telling me to email a different email address (instead of, you know, forwarding my email to the relevent department). And my ticket was closed. Gotta love old Terrance.

Got my stuff today - 7 factions with all the stuff (splitting with a friend).

So far we've noticed that a Nazier starter is missing, as well as one dice bag and a set of extra Hadross cards.

The PVC is amazing. Easily blows anything and everything from Privateer Press, Mantic and Soda Pop out of the water. I can say in all seriousness that the best cast I've seen from these 3 can't hold a candle to the worst cast from Wrath of Kings.

Pretty sure it was correcting some of the mis packs from the initial two waves. I got the impression they paused to audit and fix instead of shipping and sending out replacements.

Yeah, they posted something like that cincy as an update. Still waiting for all my toys or even a tracking number!

Mine arrived yesterday just after my tracking number which doesn't work on DPDs site but I only got a chance to go through it now. The miniatures turned out very well even the female figures have well defined faces which tends to be a problem in PVC not much in the way of mold lines. The only real disappointment is the Ancient King the details are very soft and it's just not up to the standard of the rest.

The mispacked cards were inserted on top of box but they sent me Shael Han - fine ordered them and Hadross but I got Nasier as my second faction so I need to get them replaced. Only other error was a Pelegrath Howl with an Ashmen mask rather than her sword.
