I just see a messed up mutant.

Sure it may be more top heavy, but it's all mutated anyways.

At least the bulk of the Skorza are more in proportion. They also aren't out of control mutants, so there's that too.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

No.

And the proportions are intended to look like that for this model, as he's been experimented on. So Piston...you're not far off.

I really like Guiton's artwork, and models based on his artwork. I still want to see what looked like Teknes kids with giant shadowy demon things coming out of them get made.

Any word on how these will be made available? Straight to retail or another Kickstarter?

I wouldn't be adverse to either option.

These guys have Rackham proportions. The ratios may be similar to the slop that Mantic puts out but the style and execution put it in a different league.

Not sorry I dropped my pledge as I have zero time for this, but I look at the minis longingly every so often.

Hey all,

I know the army building in WoK is pretty streamlined and accessible. But is there any Army Builder out there? I couldn't find any via google. I found an unsupported, not-up-to-date online Excel doc that doesn't really do anything from the WGC FB group. But I'm just curious if there's anything out there for army planning?

Thanks

There is not, presently, but it is something we are looking into.

Battlescribe and Army Builder files may be the first to come.

I'm glad that they decided against having the massive cleavage from the art put onto the actual model. Heavily armored but with the heart easily stabbable is just stupid.

Very nice!

The Wrath of Kings Sneak Peeks continue with a look at the new Pack Master Kozakar for House Goritsi. Kozakar is a skilled huntsman, usually deploying far in advance of allied forces. Utilizing his unique tracking and pathfinding skills, he can lead other Goritsi units across the battlefield further and faster than they ever could alone. Pack Master Kozakar is an imposing presence on the battlefield, as you can see from his art and figure on an 80mm base, which includes his three pets.

Koazakar is a Rank 1 Character Specialist for Goritsi, and while he has a fairly impressive attack in Tear Asunder, his main use is found in his Pathfinder action, which, based on your successful Will Checks, allows other Goritsi models to sprint closer to his location. This, combined with the fact Kozakar has Infiltrate, allowing him to deploy farther across the battlefield than any other model, and you have a devastating combo for speed. He also has the standard Skorza assortment of Skirmisher and Stalker, meaning Kozakar will never be tied down by the enemy, allowing him to stalk the battlefields and summon forth allies to key locations and positions.

Expect Pack Master Kozakar and the other revealed new units (Gorbal, Brutes and Warsmiths) in Q1 of 2016!

I am sorta confused about the model. I like the general look, but the multi-based dogs is surprising. Also, the dogs look like a hyena and a boar had a little of love-puppies. So I like it, but I sorta don't. Which I guess is how I feel about 90% of the WoK line, which means I will buy this guy just like I bought everything else.

yeah, those are some funny looking dingoenaboarthings.

I like the model. As a unit, seems meh, I'm not sure I'll use him. I'm loving my Rank 2 characters Specials and 2 Siegebreakers atm for Goritsi!

Cool find!

The Teknes thing looks like a catapult to throw the driver out as some sort of last ditch attack.

The Greatwings for Nasier are very cool. Which is to be expected, because they're from house Nasier.

Can't wait to see this stuff showing up at retail. I'll get some at the very least to paint. Maybe some day I'll get in a game of Wrath of Kings proper!

This phrase make me corius . How many games you had , and in general how much is popular wrath of kings in your zone?

Here in Italy , zero interest for WoK.

Price seems steep for what you get, but I am interested in those swordsmen guys.

The big Wolfen models are very nice for being in PVC.

I think those are basically the starter sets, minus one unit of infantry and their leaders. I got mine in the Ks though, so a lot may have changed.

The models are nice, I can attest for that. PVC sucks, but they don't need a lot of cleaning, and the detail is quite good. Not like top of the industry good, but like 80-90 percentile. Not many easy options for customization though.

Archmagos Veneratus Extremis

Home Base: Prosper, TX (Dallas)

It's half a troop box and a full specialist box for each side. Which is a solid start and I think is the actual intro level force. Essentially the models alone would be $70 so it's a slight discount on the models and you get the rulebook.

But the price point is great for a game when the rest of industry is generally $100+. Plus the rulebook is free for download. And you won't have a bunch of extra useless models if you pick up another faction starter which is nice too.

Via TTGN:

http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/shell-cracker-previewed-for-wrath-of-kings/

Though I don’t get to have it all that often, I do love seafood. In particular, I love shellfish. However, this is one crustacean that’s just as likely to try and eat me as I am to eat him. A new preview for Wrath of Kings has been posted. It’s the Shell Cracker for Hadross.

The Shell Cracker is sort of a “hermit crab on steroids.” I mean, except for that one video going around the internet recently, you don’t often see crabs armed with knives or swords. The Shell Cracker is a Rank 1 specialist for the faction, so you don’t get that many out on the table. But they are worth their weight out there, getting into position and then hunkering down, daring your opponent to move them.

Huh, despite not loving the Hadross range as a whole, their new models are probably my favorites. I do love the Teknes guy in the walking chair though too
