Is there anywhere we can even get the new stuff?

I keep desperately searching all the usual spots. So far NOTHING.

CMON why you don't want my money? I've been chomping at the bit on this one!

25 more items? Jeez! C'mon CMON, make with the minis!

I believe official launch date of the new stuff is the 16th April, so only a couple of days away. Though looking at other groups some stock is getting through now.

I'm not sure what that means!

Do you mean existing 'regular' stock is being sent out to places, or the New Stuff?

New stuff is in shops and has been in a few for a week or so.

Anybody picked up the Teknes stomper guys and can provide information on their stats/abilities? They haven't updated the downloadable cards on the website yet

I saw Miniature Market has a few new bits in, but naturally no Nasier or Hadross stuff yet.

Yeah, so far it looks like the only ones out are the Nasir Greatwings & Pelegarth Brutes, the Teknes Stompers & Warsmiths, and the Goritsi Characters.

So 5 sku's out of the approximately 25 they've mentioned. We know there are 2 more Hadross specialists. We know there are flying pigs for Teknes. And I'm pretty sure some Characters were noticed at Adepticon but even with that we only know what about 5 more of the sku's are. So that is a massive amount of sku's that we don't know yet what we're getting.

Like Shael-Han!

I'm waiting till everything is out right now outside of the Teknes stuff and anything Shael-Han. I'm going to be cutting 1 more army and I don't know which it'll be yet. Nasir or Goritsi (already cut and sold Hadross).

Drat, it is too bad the wolf-elk with boar-dogs is bundled with the.. Mantic style nurgle-wolf thing. I really like the former and really dislike the latter, so will end up getting neither!

It's a pretty cheap box. Just consider Gorbal a piece of sprue and toss him and it'd still be competitively priced.

You can always send your Mantic Nurgle-wolf thing to me so I can dispose of it properly for you. Safety reasons and all!

Still hoping to see those Shael Han tigers soon.

I keep thinking their was a Hadross shark guy with a hammerhead as well. We see any more out of him?

Or the armored Teknes piggy "Butcher?"

Thanks guys, but $35 for one guy I like is not competitive with all the other things I could get for $35. I haven't yet been acclimated to GW level prices, and may never be.

That "one guy" is a large werewolf with a pack of dogs, on what looks like a 60 or 80mm base.
Dreadnaught sized, if the Goritzi I have are anything to go by

Pack master is on an 80mm if I remember correctly.

Since Miniature Market seems to have all the new releases in stock now, I'll take on for team Dakka and order them today.

Hopefully I'll be able to post pictures later this week or early next!

Are you talking about those photos of painted legs that look vaguely Nasier/ Shael- Han like, or that griffon leg?

Or am I just spending too much time trying to hunt down new stuff?

From the CMoN Expo (via TGN http://www.tabletopgamingnews.com/the-future-of-dark-age-and-wrath-of-kings-panel-at-cmon-expo/)

Wrath of Kings

Starting out right quick, we’ve got a look at the cover for Book 2 for Wrath of Kings. This book (which they’re still working on the name) will have new infantry, specialists, and heroes. Not every faction will get the same spread of items, but everyone will be getting the same amount of releases. For example, one might get an extra infantry release, while another might get an extra specialist release. The book will have a reprinting of the rules with minor wording fixes (nothing major. Just a “clean up” of the rules). The book is expected for a Gen Con release (so we’ll hopefully see you at that show!).

The stat cards will also be available online when the book is released.

Also getting prepped for Gen Con is a Wrath of Kings Card Pack. It will have all the stat cards in the game, plus extra cards that will cover the basic motivations and objectives. A couple stat cards will also get a wording clean-up as well as a few “quality of life” changes for certain models.

There will be six releases for each faction (totaling 30 new releases). The first several of these releases are already available as of this month.

The next releases will be in August/September and include one box for Goritsi, and two boxes for Hadross and Shael Han.

The Pit Fighters. They’re an expansion of the Carcarians forces, but full of all sorts of “dirty tricks.”

Following Gen Con, there will be a rotating schedule of two boxes per month, so in a 3-month period, everyone will get something.

Celestials. Shael Han is summoning these fellows in. It’s a Zodiac-inspired force.

In terms of organized play, there will be a Wrath of Kings campaign coming later this year. From there on, they hope to have a Campaign each year, with possible tie-ins to what will be coming in future books. The Campaign will be giving you the chance to use character-versions of the generic specialists for the different factions. Then, as you play, that character will be able to level up, being able to become higher rank characters, gaining special, new abilities that you can choose from, so no two player’s characters will always end up the same.

There are also two Organized Play Packs that are being finalized. They will have such things as promo minis, special art postcards, pins, tokens, objective markers, and possibly other cool items like that.

Another thing in the works is expanding the environmental feel of the game. There will be more art pieces showing off various cities and the lands of Arikania. Along with that, they are looking into coming out with official terrain for the game.

Spoiler added as the images are huge!
Spoiler:

Dammit! You beat me to i!

You didn't post the artwork though!

I wonder if those Goritsi with the Packmaster are going to be a new thing.

Very impressed with the new models.

All the fish and shark men are quite impressive. If only they'd bump the size just a teeny tiny bit on them!

Flying wolves are pretty ridiculous, in a good way.

I find it a little odd they're going all in on the flying infantry rather than introducing a bit more ranged stuff, but the new models are all looking great.

Don't forget this gem. He was just hanging out on top of the vendor area shelf on display this past weekend at the CMON Expo, and I could only get smiles and winks out of folks when I asked them about it. It's the size of a Warmachine Colossal / GW Knight Titan, though. Definitely needs something like a 120mm base, and my guesstimate is this is the first of the Rank 3 things we will see.

Also of note, in a conversation with the game's designer, Wrath of Kings is a game designed around purposefully not using things that are common in other games, like ranged weapon templates or blast templates. The move to create flying troops that can get across enemy lines to more sensitive targets as opposed to creating more ranged weaponry is absolutely deliberate.

Wow.

Big dragon is big.

I wouldn't mind having something like that.

Boy do they ever need to release this stuff!

I love love love that dragon!

I really like the flying wolf too, though his horse tail a little less so.

the wolf is cool but I don't quite understand him.
is he a goritsi werewolf with a jetpack or a celestial wolf with a jetpack?
looks celestial to me.

That dragon is amazing.

The Hadross pit fighters look terrible. Looks like someone cut the heads off the toys from the aquarium souvenir shop and glued them to bodies.
