So, this almost seems a redundant question, but I have to ask. Would the Ork dread mob codex be able to ally with the Orks? I want a cool force and I think it would be neat to run spanna boys and a painboss with a full 30 boy mob and warboss. or a fast attack killa kan option with a Heavy support killa kan option.
Do I have any possible way of doing this? It sounds too cool to not try.

Codex: Ork and Dread Mob armies may ally each other as battle brothers, so an allied painboss may join any unit of the main army (within the limitations of the IC rules).

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe. |

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Tripple? You can get as many as 10. Mekkboy junkas can have a SAG as main turret, and can be fielded as both elite and dedicated transport for your meks.

The SAG on a Junka is Expensive..but yea dropping 10 ap2 pie plates into the enemy will make him nervous I am certain ..oh and odds are you will lose one or two of those sags to their own fire ..(the junkas dont have ammo runts to use for rerolls)

Playing a 2000 pt army with Deff Dread allies is ridiculous. Since you can take double forces at the 2k level you get 4 main army HQ and 2 Ally HQ. my 2K force has a Warboss, 2 KFFs, a Sag and 2 Painbosses. Sticking both KFFs and Painbosses in 30-boy mobs flanked by 20-boy mobs that all have a 5+ save and 60 FNP saves. They are ridiculously hard to whittle down unless you roll terribly.
