They tried. Sadly if they charged grots, they got Meganobz to the face. Meganobz cover a lot of ground, ususally by charging. Lol.

The grots were just a red herring honestly.70 points Ill never miss. hehehehe.

Flamers (duh)

Vindicators will put out a lot of wounds onto Green Tide (which is what he runs ik the ork player irl)

JotWW will deal a lot to silly i2

ML will do damage with frag missles and can punch out the occasional tank or flier with krak

Bloodclaws can deal a hefty amount of damage in CC and can be a good speed bump or flat out counter to blocks o' boyz

Podding dreads with dual heavy flamers can melt lootas before they can shoot back

Whirlwinds can deny those pesky KFF saves, and if you take the FW version they can also take out fliers with their skyfire missile

Fenrisian wolves can be a solid speed bump and can take out lootas if they can get there unnoticed

And the list goes on....

Yea the drop dreds hurt when commin for my lootas no cover/i cant fight it back
makes me have to turn around to deal with it so i have less boyz running to the front lines
JotWW is all around painful but at boyz squads since i take from the front im not to scared of it now.

Get as many drop pods as possible. Last time i took 5 (3 GH squads, 2 double HF Dreads). Focus on lootas, and large mobs of shoota boyz.

i was his opponent at are local store i cant recall alot of the match but the dred came down and flames a squad of lootas and the vinys tore up a squad of boyz.
however i did make alot of my 5+ kff saves and i screwed up with my weirdboy when he got a er we go i put him in a very bad place.
my dakkajets ended up cleaning alot of objective holding squads and the end vertic was a tie after we rolled for end game on t5
sorry but we had no batrep will sure to make one next time as the puppy's are my fav opponent

I think combined bomb list can do the job very very good

As an orky scrapper, I can tell you from experience that the two things I hate to see more than anything else are drop pods and psykers. Those things will ruin my day faster than anything else. Even the DA dakka banner with plasma spam is less upsetting than those. If you're playing against a balanced ork army, bring some meltas and some flamers, long fangs, and maybe some termies to soak up the high AP hits. Put your guys in pods, slam them down, and start shooting. Try to keep them relatively close to one another, because the one thing you DO NOT want is to split up your army. Orks love piece meal.

But seriously, though, Orkimedezz is right. Just kill the grots, and the rest is a total cake walk. You won't even have to shoot.

i have found some very very mean lists that i hate to fight. one was 3 dreadkights and 3droppods that was all he eeded to kill my 1850pt ork list. T1 drops came in and killed all 2 squads of 10lootas both on other parts of the bored.
the 3 knights flew up and flamed my boyz to death. took 2 to make a squad run off the bored and the other killed 2 bikers (out of 7) he charged into that unit of bikers called out the warboss and i declined and her continued to murder 2 more. i failed my check and ran off the bored as did the first squad that got flamed. than my turn all i had was a squad of 30boyz and 2 trukks full. pretty much game ended t2-3. as i would have been tabled. as a ork player all are boyz down n dead. the boss is fallen... are shiny guns are on the ground..... was probably the worst game i played and i gratz him for his victory of the turni.

That story doesn't add up at all. How do two flamers make a unit of boyz run of the board? How did the player get drop pods and dreadknights in the same army? What did you do to make this few models cost 1850 points? Why didn't you just accept the challenge issued by the dreadknight? What unit of 10 space marines can reliably kill 10 lootaz in a single shooting phase?

And most importantly: How does this help a Space Wolves player?
