I am looking for a Treadhead allies list to go with both Tau and C:SM foot lists. I have 1 old school LRBT w./sponsons that needs to be in the list. Beyond that the list is wide open to through treads in.

What Sponsons? I would recommend removing them as when a standard LRBT fires its main cannon it affects the shooting of them due to it being an ordnance weapon. Other then that a decent "Tread" themed allied list would be:

-Company Command Squad
*w/ x3 Plasma Guns, Astropath or Officer of the Fleet
-Chimera

-This gives you a 12 front armor transport, some hitting power and some support for your army with either helping your reserves or making it harder for your opponent to get his.

-x10 Veterans
*w/ x3 Plasma Guns
-Chimera

-A standard build for many Mech Vet IG players however if you feel you need Melta those work great as well, also they are fast moving with another Chimera

-Leman Russ Battle Tank
*w/ Hull Heavy Bolter

-All that you need, a cheap and reliable Tank.

19th Krieg Siege Army 7500pts.
40k/HH Night Lords 5000pts.
Orks Waaaghmacht Spearhead 2500pts.

By old, I meant so old it only had a hull mounted Lascannon and sponson heavy bolters as the stock/only build options.

I had though about the 2 chimera as like the model just had not been sure what to put in it.

Are you okay with counts-asing things on the tank?

Anyways, a 500 point mech list for guard designed to be used as an ally? I'd do...

Primaris Psyker

Vets - 3x meltaguns, chimera
Vets - 3x meltaguns, chimera

Punisher - lascannon, multimeltas

In this way, you have a consummate defensive weapon, being able to support an allied attack, or to be able to chill out somewhere and deny everything there to your opponents.

If you want more offensive punch, I'd drop the punisher down to a vanquisher, and up the multimeltas to plasma cannons. That way you've got 4 strong Ap2 shots firing starting right away. That way you disrupt your opponents' most threatening thing(s) right away to open up a weak spot for your ally, with mechvets covering them, to exploit.
