I contacted the death star guy to see what the wait would be on the order, he told me to email him in 2 weeks and he should be able to take care of me. Didnt include any info on sending him the money now or how long it would take him to make the stuff I wanted.

The lack of info in his response was disappointing since I was ready to scream SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY

I played an intro game on these, they're very nice.

I was unaware that you could buy a mould off of the manufacturer, very interesting.

I think Panic bought some of the turrets and seemed quite impressed with them.

I ended up emailing the guy back and will be ordering a full tile set and a full trench set. Seems like a pretty cool guy

You're really going in full bore on xwing! Don't forget to post pics of how the tile set turns out.

I feel the same way since last summer. I'd been intrigued with Star Wars fighter games for over a decade since playing various homebrew versions with Micromachine models at Gencon and later with the Wings of War rules so I was intently following last year's release of Xwing closely. It definitely hasn't disappointed either me or FFG from their gencon presentation. Its apparently their best selling product since being introduced.
